PayMyPCN - Parking + Enforcement Agency Fine Ticket

Hi there

I parked my car in a carpark in Wembley, bought a ticket and as 1 wheel was a few millimetres over the bay they gave me a ticket for "not being parked in the bay"

The company are called Parking + Enforcement Agency, they use the paymypcn.net for payments. I have attached the parking fine.

Sj21h9q.jpg

They give reference to British Parking Association on there...

Should I challenge or not?

If I ignore despite having purchased ticket, will it affect my credit history? or will it affect me in any way?

Please please please help me

Thank you

I see you have done no research yet

its not a fine, its an invoice

now please read the NEWBIES sticky thread and read it several times until you understand it

appeal the pcn using the template after day 21 (21 days after the above pcn was issued)

nothing will affect your credit rating unless it goes to court, you lose, you dont pay the judgment set by a judge , you then get a CCJ after 28 days , that and only then is when your credit rating is affected

its not been to court, ergo no credit rating is affected , but they have 6 years to chase the alleged debt ( small claims court rules = MCOL )

read up and deal with it, stop worrying about armageddon, it hasnt happened yet , lol :)

    Thanks for your reply

I called the British Parking Association they said the company was registered with them so that I should appeal as I could always go down the POPLA route if all else failed.

BPA also mentioned that I should appeal within 14days so the fine does not increase.

You say I should appeal after day 21

Having read the "newbie" thread, the part that refers to me, having checked they are a member of AOS states "The latest advice is, in the case of AOS MEMBERS ONLY, appeal online or by email at around day 20 after a windscreen ticket but as the KEEPER, not driver, using the template below. NOTE: the appeal deadline is NOT 14 days, please re-read your PCN if you think it is!"

On my PCN it stated "reduced charge if paid within 14days" that means after all the hassle of going back and forth should I lose I have to pay £100.

Also on the PCN it states "Any appeal must be in writitng within 28days of this PCN"

so what to do ? pls clarify

    Why is this?

    It is NOT A FINE.

Who do you want to believe: the BPA who are only interested in supporting their paying members, the parking scammers, or people like Redx and Coupon-Mad who have given up hundreds hours of their own time to help people like you for free?

You need to read and re-read the NEWBIE thread until you understand how to appeal and why. The fourteen day rubbish is to encourage you to pay, the twenty one days is to ensure the parking company don't get your money.

Do not pay, do not ignore, do not reveal who was driving, do not 'phone a parking company, ever.

Follow the free advice on here and beat this scam.

because they are assuming you are the driver, so by doing what you said you are admitting to being the driver, the windscreen ticket was for the driver as the driver was at fault

its not a fine either, I already told you its an invoice , there is a difference, no private company can fine you , you willl not find the word FINE anywhere on it, so you are making that part up

the NEWBIES sticky thread tells you how to appeal and why and when, please read it, its important

you appeal as keeper on day 21 and before day 25 , (not as driver)

its important not to name the driver, not to infer who was driving , as once they get the drivers details they have 6 years to pursue them or take them to court

you asked for advice due to you not understanding it, so take the advice, or dont, its your choice, I am just giving you the facts and telling you what you "should do", where to look for the correct info, I have done that, doesnt matter if you understand it or not, you will not understand this process for weeks or months if you study it as a topic , I have looked on here for 2 years already and maybe know half of it - you have been a member here 5 times as long as me, yet done no research at all up to now , lol

if you paid a solicitor, its his job to understand it, not the clients, which is why he has done several years legal training and passed exams etc

so read that newbies thread , use the template letter on or after day 21, dont alter it, dont add to it, dont drop yourself "in it" , dont name the driver

I doubt that the BPA used the word "fine" , I think you made that up, they may have said sum or charge, but not fine

also , you are mixing up the driver and the keeper

the driver has 14 days to pay the reduced charge (not fine) or 28 days to appeal it as the driver

but the driver passes it to the keeper and the keeper appeals it as keeper , so they have to issue an NTK and deal with the keeper, not driver

in effect, the driver is no longer involved

clearly you have not grasped this vital difference between the 2 entities of driver and keeper

it's not a fine, you've broken no laws, you have nothing to appeal against.

you do however have a speculative invoice to challenge .

Redx I really appreciate your advice but not the way in which you delivery it

I am not an expert in dealing with private parking companies however I am an expert in other areas of life where I help a service that serves over 1000 people a day , 6 days a week WITHOUT patronising, condescending or belittling them.
clearly you have not grasped this vital difference between the 2 entities of driver and keeper

sure - clearly you have not grasped the concept of being able to give advise albeit in your own time in a nice way. Whats that all about a power trip of some sort?

Do you just help people to boost your ego or something?

I would rather pay the £60 instead of being insulted by you over and over again.

    FYI :
read up and deal with it, stop worrying about armageddon, it hasnt happened yet , lol

You mentioned "armageddon" not me, again whats that all about , really lol
doesnt matter if you understand it or not, you will not understand this process for weeks or months if you study it as a topic , I have looked on here for 2 years already and maybe know half of it - you have been a member here 5 times as long as me, yet done no research at all up to now , lol

so then why do you keep repeating this mantra

    "so read that newbies thread"

    Pure contradiction or what!!

Its like dude, come on , you wanna help , share your knowledge then do so humbly without ego and pride it would be much more appreciated then coming over as nasty as these private parking companies do.

If paying the fine I received meant you would come off your high horse I would quite happily pay £1000

Geez its a forum, where people ask for advice, you know share knowledge, pass it forward not intimidate and belittle to make up for short comings in other areas...

I am not interested in how you "feel" about my advice

I tell it like it is , warts and all , if you dont like it , TUFF, doesnt matter to me

until you wise up you will fall for this sc@m, so I make no apologies in making things crystal clear and pointing you at the info already provided which you had not read until you were told to, nor in pointing out the discrepancies in your posts until you learn the real meaning of the words we are all saying

I am not your friend, have no intentions of being your friend

I used to write engineering reports and was not allowed to write anything other than the facts , so no emotion or compassion, so that is how I was trained for over 20 years and is how I always write, if you dont like it , again , TUFF

check my other posts on here, you will see they are the same, so its not personal, its the way it is, to everyone

in ten years you have 145 posts and 2 thanks

in 2 years I have over 8000 posts and over 9000 thanks , so kind of negates your reply

Wise up? I got this penalty on saturday sorry I am not a guru in this in a few days despite it taking you years...

You dont tell it like it is, you tell it with attitude, aggression in a harsh way.
I am not your friend, have no intentions of being your friend

i will pay you not to be.
I used to write reports thats how I was trained

you could write for David Cameron, I could not care less, all I say is wise up and be more polite OTHERWISE you will push people to pay their fines rather then deal with a bigot, eccentric, impolite and rude person such as yourself.

Despite your intention being good as were some of Hitlers, Saddam Husseins and Stalins and they did much more then "write reports" they did not really go down well at all...

its like a solider saying "i am trained to kill so i do all day, deal with it" plsssssssssssss lol

Like dude, if you dont wanna offer the advice, dont...but if you do, then at least be pleasant, OR why even bother reply...Again it comes down to you getting a ego / pride boost by doing so...

    urrrghhhhh
in ten years you have 145 posts and 2 thanks

yes in 10 years I have seen alot of the world, been places and done things shall I write a book on how to feed your ego to replying to travel the world questions in a ghastly way....and you know how many of those 9k people who you helped personally? doesnt that tell you something? they were being "polite" it doesnt mean they appreciate you being rude to them
