I keep on getting a "Skype for business 2015" pop up on my Win 8.1 laptop
I have never used or plan to use Skype
So wish to remove it - completely
The program does not appear in my program list - so I assumed that it was part of Windows - yet it does not appear in the Windows features either
Any suggestions how I get rid of it ?

Which program list are you referring to; there's the program list on the Start page and theres a program list you can access via Control Panel's Programs and Features page.

Control Panel list !!0 -
Control Panel list !!
From the Win8 Start page, click on the down arrow, bottom left of the page, where you should find a list of all programs / apps installed. Right-click on any program / app and select Uninstall from the options if you want to uninstall it.Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

I don't know if this helps, but "Skype for Business" is Microsoft's new name for Lync, which you might have with the business version of Office 365.0

I have Office Pro Plus 2013 but this has no "modify" option on the installer to allow me to dispose of this addition !!
So it looks as if I am stuck with it ???0 -

It seems to appear at random - sometimes at boot up - sometimes when I open IE, Sometimes, when nothing is being opened !!
It is extremely annoying..0 -
What does the pop-up actually say? Is it a login (user ID + password) dialog box?0
