I do not mind cyclists if they follow the rules on the roads but my pet hates are when they take the blatant pee ie:- jumping red lights and if you see a large group of them they sit 2-3 wide and hold up the traffic without a care in the world for anyone else, It would not be hard to say oh we are causing a large backlog of traffic lets pull in and allow it past.

Had a large group in front of me holding up the traffic a while ago and people were getting pretty peed off with them as they had pretty much both sides of the rd so it was difficult to pass them and when I did manage it they hurled abuse at me for thinking they owned the rd so when one hit a pot hole and came off his bike I slowed down laughed and carried on driving away.

No it doesn't and equating prejudice against ethnic minorities with the perceived difficulties encountered by cyclists because of their chosen mode of transport is bordering on the offensive.
Cycling may be optional but the actual difficulties encountered are often the result of prejudice. Sorry if you were offended.

Have you considered the abuse was the result of an unsafe overtake by you?. Have you considered your annoyance at having to slow for other road users is the result of you considering yourself, as a motorist, more important than the cyclists and you behaved as though you thought you owned the road?. Have you considered they were riding where they were to avoid pot holes?.

It is the behaviour of cyclists who use pavements with no thought for the pedestrians who wish to walk on the pavements safely. I am deaf. I have been knocked over twice by cyclists. I lost my hearing aids, I was on crutches for several weeks, the cyclist did not even stop. I am a full time carer so my 95 year old mother was inconvenienced for several weeks. I do see why I should use a car or public transport to get about. I choose to walk and I should be able to walk along the pavement safely.

My local shopping area is used by an elderly population yet cyclists use the pavement and terrorise the elderly who wish to shop locally.
Therefore local population do not see local residents and become lonely and restricted to their homes.

Is that your justification for hatred of cyclists? I see many more motorists obstructing pavements than cyclists. This is very likely a significant cause of pedestrian deaths. Should all motorists be vilified for the actions of a few idiot motorists?
Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler.

I doubt it somewhat as 20 odd years of driving without ever having an accident would pretty much show my driving ability and I often get told that I am a careful driver, Simple truth here is that bike riders in my area are pig headed idiots who have no cares for anyone other than themselves, Darn right ignorance and believing that they own the rd as they should at least be fare to others as others are to them.

I do not mind them going in out in large groups but come on have respect for a car driver and they will show the same in return.

If there is an ongoing problem with dangerous pavement cycling contact the shopping area management if there is one or your local police.

Have you considered you may have caused an accident by forcing a cyclist into a pot hole?
You may have avoided being involved directly in an accident for 20 years but good driving involves respect and courtesy for other road users. The cyclists reaction to your overtake suggests it was unsafe. Have you considered the cyclist were likely to also be motorists who may have a driving record equal to or better than yours.

I have considered all of the above comments and completely disregarded as absolute rubbish, I will try and make it clear for you to understand in as simple a way as possible :-

I do not dislike all bike riders only the idiot ones that show no respect back.

The guys that were blocking the path of a long line of traffic including mine were simply being obstructive idiots by not allowing traffic to flow past them by pulling into a two line chain as opposed to 4 bikes out acting like numpties.

They clearly see the traffic building up and had a lack of brains to think oh lets drop back in to a chain of 2 out to allow traffic past us so when the guy came off his bike it was deserved and my thoughts were karma. :)

I just wish they had to be licenced (ensuring a certain degree of training) Insured (Cyclists can still cause damage/Injury to others) and had to display some means of formal Identification i.e number plate.

Some form of MOT wouldn't be a bad thing either considering the number I see at night with no lights
