Where I am in Hampshire, it uses the Vodafone (old C&W) fibre network.

Where I am in Avon/Somerset. it also uses Vodafone for its Broadband service.

Buyer beware! Tried to take advantage of new offer of 12 month contract as specified in MSE, almost 2 weeks ago. Day after I applied just over £172 was deducted from my bank account. Following that there has been no confirmation of contract being accepted. Tried to communicate on numerous occasions via their chat line without success. Have emailed several times but no response. I have now decided to cancel my application and request a refund.
Similar experience. However, I managed to get them to give me a switch date.

That day came and they hadn't provided any more communications. Not even the username and password for the router. Eventually got hold of this information.

Turns out they hadn't switched the landline - just the broadband (onto Vodafone). Took another two to three weeks for landline to switch, during which time my old provider was charging me for line rental at their full price.

Then they sent me a bill charging from the date I applied online, rather than the date the connection switched! Not only this, but they tried to bill me £9.99/month for the part month until the 1st of the next month, claiming their billing system only allows the 12 months paid upfront to be applied from the 1st of the month!

I've cancelled my direct debit over the billing issue and happy to sue for breach of contract (as I've paid for a year upfront) should they disconnect me over the failed billing.

You may need to wait until later today before it is switched over.

My router (ASUS N17U) worked straight out of the box. It was already configured with the correct username and password.

I suspect that the line has not been switched over yet.

You need to check the router lights to see if it has synced to a BB signal or not (usually a solid light labelled DSL but check router docs). If it has synced and you still have no internet that will be because it either isn't set up with the correct user details or Origin haven't set your account up.

Getting into the router admin panel would really help you check this out yourself. You may get some info from ....
