end of August, just before the girls go back to school, will be better. How many days were you thinking of for your visit?
even better - wait until Feb half term next year - its the cheapest time to go to DLP.
think we will go for 3 days/2 nights or 4/3 not sure really as it will depend on price!
obviously the girls would love to stay at a hotel on site but do any of them do special offers for single parents etc please? x0 -

no - I always go as one adult plus kids, so I always pay an under-occupancy supplement. The good news for you for onsite hotels is that both your children will go free as they are aged under 7, and that includes free park tickets for the duration of your stay as well.
I do think, for a first trip, with the ages of your children, February half term makes the most sense for you. The prices are already out on the official DLP site for this period, so have a look and see what you think (you should be able to get the Santa Fe or Cheyenne, for 2 nights for all of you, hotel, park tickets and breakfast included, for around £300 at that time of year. All kids aged under 12 go free at that time of year too.
You could actually get 4 nights for the same price, but maybe thats too long for you (as obviously you'd have to factor in an extra day or 2's budget for food, souvenirs etc).0 -
thanks for the reply, we had friends who went a year or two ago and all they did is complain how expensive the food was, it got me worried, so the full board seemed like a good deal. Oh well, at least it's all paid for, so it should mean I shouldn't need much spending money.0

Is there any equivalent tickets like this which don't expire before the end of Sep as I'm looking to go in October?0 -
Don't bother going to Paris. We went to florida and went direct to Villa Direct and they have special deals we got the whole villa for 2 weeks 6 bed for £900. Much cheaper than going to Paris0

We're booked to go at the end of August. We're staying at Davy Crockett and driving over. Does anyone know what Davy Crockett is like? Also, how long does the drive take from Calais roughly?0

If you can check in on 13th Feb, I can see the DLH for £874 total for you all for 4 nights/5 days on the official DLP site. From 14th on through your possible dates its more expensive because its the weekend and then its half term week proper.0
