Hi thank you for advice. Eurostar is about £160 tho as cook quoted 97 eac for two day pass and £75.00 for explorers is tha good I could drive as only in deal near Dover thank you
how many of you are going? you mentioned "£97 each for 2-day pass". Your grandchild doesn't need a pass as she's only 2. Is the Eurostar price per person, or the total for all of you?
Expedia is selling 2 onsite Disney hotels, the Santa Fe and the Cheyenne, for £63 for the night of 4th December. I'd pick one of those over the Explorers as they are onsite, and have the Disney characters there in the mornings etc.0 -
my search for pricing has come up with the following:
2 adults and 1 4yr old.
going in January 17th / returning January 19th
eurostar to Lille - £187 return.
Sequoia Lodge hotel Montana - £349 includes the room, breakfast and park tickets.
is this good?
what do i need to get from Lille to the park??0 -

you can book the Eurostar straight through from UK to DLP via Lille, I can see the total fare on the Eurostar site for your dates for £202. If you don't want to book with Eurostar all the way through, you can get a local TGV train ticket from sncf.fr or raileurope (its another train you'd get from Lille to Marne la Vallee, the DLP station).
If you only want to go for 2 nights, then that price for the Sequoia Lodge is not bad - can you get it cheaper by not choosing a Montana room (all the rooms are refurbed, including the lodges, and nothing is more than a couple of minutes walk from the main hotel building).0 -

Hi, thanks,
there were 2 x hotesl available for those dates on a 40% off deal.
this is for a Montana room, whereas the standard room was about £45 cheaper. just wanted it nice and special for my son. but if there is no real reason to book a Montana room then i`ll go for standard, and i think it was about £10 for eurostar direct, but it said they didnt do a return on saturdays from what i could tell?
so opted for Lille and then a train from there0 -
I am now trying to book santa fe hotel for DLP from 28 till 3 march three nights. It coming to be 285 pounds from most sites. Is it a good price or should I wait for better offers. Can anyone help ? Thanks a lot in advance0

in February I wouldn't pay any more than about £65 per room per night for an onsite hotel.
Are you driving and taking the ferry? If you're driving there are loads of hotels you could look at in the area, like the associated hotels (Kyriad, Dream Castle, Magic Circus, Explorers) as they have free shuttle buses to the DLP parks and you can park at the hotel for free if you're a guest there.
Or there are hotels in val d'europe or bussy st george, these are 1 and 2 stops away from DLP by local and very frequent (ie every 5-10 minutes) train.
You don't have to be a guest at any of the onsite hotels to visit their public areas (reception, restaurants, bars, gift shops etc) or to meet the characters there.
DLP themselves were offering the Santa Fe and Cheyenne onsite hotels plus park tickets for 2 adults and 2 children under 12 for around £380 total for 4 nights and 5 days at the time of year you are going, it was a special offer bookable a couple of months ago. Just for information really, as at that time of year it really could have been cheaper booking the hotel/park tickets package through Disney.0 -
my mum has decided to treat us and the kids to DLP as our xmas gift... £600 budget for Feb half term
realised early on that we were never going to get anywhere near that budget especially when dont want to drive.
so am instead looking at 17th jan to 20th Jan (thurs to Sun)
got quote for £415 at Sequoia Lodge... when adding eurostar it took total price up to £930!
But when booking directly with Eurostar it only made it a total of £700... why so much cheaper? I knew it might be cheaper but not over £200??
Only thing i cant tell and cant find any reference to it on Eurostar is about adding the Disney Express which have been told is worth doing - can we add this at a later stage?
wondered if it was because on eurostar website you can specify adults as well as seniors but on disney website you dont get that option?
Any ideas?
Intend to book both through quidco even though have read its a bit of a nightmare in tracking it.... and was going to avoid the meal plans this time round.
this will be my 4th visit over last 18 years.. last took DS when he was 4 in 2006 so am hoping that DD will love it as much (she will be 4)
All advice much appreciated0 -

definitely book Eurostar yourself, I have no idea why Disney puts such a hefty price increase on the Eurostar fares when you buy through them. For a 4-day stay, you don't need Disney express, you'll have plenty of time to take your luggage to your hotel and check in on your first day. On your last day, you can get your hotel to arrange for your luggage to be taken to the Disney Express desk for you, for a total of 11 euros (ie not per person).
Also, do you have the option of a cheaper room at the Sequoia Lodge (ie not a Montana room)? All the rooms are all refurbed to the same high standard at the Sequoia Lodge now.0 -

the nearest offsite ones all do standard rooms for 4 - these are the Dream Castle, Kyriad, Explorers, and Magic Circus. The Adagio apartment, Serris apartments, Residhome Prestige, etc etc at val d'europe all take 4 in a room/apartment too.
Check travelrepublic, expedia, hotels.com, alpharooms, etc etc and see what comes up. Theres also hotels in bussy st george which are close to DLP and you might find something suitable there.
