They're not searching for food during the bag checks but anything that could be used as a weapon etc however glass bottles will be taken off you.

It's not a real search though. We often take food in aluminium foil, it could be anything from a kitchen knife in the wraps, to explosives in the sandwich sized packets. Never opened them, never cared they are just big shapes on the x ray. As you say, I think just glass and alcohol are the only things they really don't want in. But even they will go through the x ray ok.

i am taking my 2 DDs to disney next week on my own and have a few questions!

    - They are 4 and 6... will be able to go on the majority of the kids rides as I will be the only adult.
    - Can I take food onto the eurostar in my luggage? I just want to take a box of capri suns and some crisps to save a bit of money when we get there for inbetween meals.
    - Do they still have the princess exerience/dressing up thingy in the Disneyland Hotel and how much does it cost?

    Thnak you!

We went to Disney on Thursday 3rd May and we attempted to get the Disney bus from CDG. The first Disney bus stopped and didn't let anyone on, the second bus stopped and the driver told us to get the white bus, the third bus stopped and let us on but told us we had to get of at the bus station as it didn't stop at the Magic Circus hotel which it was supposed to according to its website. It was an inconvenience because we were waiting at the airport for almost 2 hours before we got the Disney bus. We could have got to the hotel quicker if we had taken the train.

Has anyone else had this hassle with the Disney bus?

I haven't used the vea bus from CDG to DLP for about 5 years, because they changed it to the current system that you experienced. Its cheaper and quicker to either go by TGV train, or book a shared shuttle with rstransports.

we arrived at CDG on the 3rd of may aswell around 12pm and had the same problems with the VEA bus. There were 3 or 4 times the amount of people than the bus could hold and no one to organise who could get on.

We waited around an hour before getting on a red VEA bus to cheyanne.

Coming home the VEA bus was perfect. We considered following others at the airport and getting a cab - but we had no idea of cost or wether we would be taken on a long journey!

Next time we go were not going to use the VEA to the hotel but probably will when going back to CDG.

The last VEA departs on a Sunday from Magic Circus hotel at 15:55. I will not be using the VEA bus again to go to the hotel either but I might use it to go back to CDG depending on the departure times.

Yes to all of your questions :)

The princess package varies in price from just a makeover and hair to a tiara, princess dress, photos etc and prices start from 60 euros

    I need help!!

I have booked a trip via eurostar coming back on the 11:52 on sunday in July. But something urgent has came up and I need an earlier train, but none now showing to book.. Does anyone know if seats will be released late if sold out, or is that it?

Or, second plan. Is it easy to fly back, and if I did could I get back by 10 am?

I just had a quick look at 2 Sundays in July, one at the beginning and one right at the end, completely sold out at the beginning of the month and almost sold out on 28th of the month. There will be no more seats to sell as they don't put on extra trains with only a couple of months until travel.

If you are staying onsite, you'd probably need a 9am (French time) flight or thereabouts from CDG to get you back to London for 10am uk time. So you'd need either a TGV train which leaves Marne La Vallee (the DLP station) for CDG at before 7.30am, or a shuttle transfer which would pick you up at your hotel at before 7am (its a 40-minute drive to the airport).

They have made me even open my camera case and looked inside my inner pockets on our changing bag. Suppose it depends on who you get as some are more thorough than others.
