Hey guys,
only 10 more sleeps for me till I go back to the magic :j. Just wondering - is there any way I can request a fridge in my room (staying at Cheyenne)? Only ask as I am currently taking eye drops and wont have finished the course before I goand they need to be stored in the fridge. Any ideas? Will they be able to do anything for me?

Thanks heaps. That's taken a weight off my mind knowing I can stash the buggy til I need it. Just need to find the keys to my lock lol.
I now realise I read that Walts won't be open, also Annettes Diner, which I wanted to go to! Nevermind I'll do lunch or dinner at Cafe Mickey or the Cowboy Cookout for the Characters, kill two birds with one stone! What's your preference out of those?
Oh, and I'm bitten by the bug already and I've not even been! There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -

unfortunately there are no fridges at the Cheyenne to hire. Could you keep the eye drops bottle in the bathroom sink in cold water? there is an ice machine in the laundry room block at the Cheyenne I believe, you could put ice in the sink?0 -
Silly question!
Whats the best kind of bag to take!
Like if you want to take a packed lunch or drinks/money etc around with you are you allowed to take bags on the rides? Or is there a safe place you can leave them?
I was thinking of taking a bumbag to carry around money and small bits but won't be room for much else.
I presume the hotel rooms are secure enough to leave your passports etc in them?
Sorry they seem like silly questions but ive never been so not sure of the best thing to do! Don't want to lug a big bag around unless i have to and sometimes you cant take bags in the rides with you so where would u leave them?0 -

I haven't been to the Cowboy Cookout since it changed to the character meal venue, but it looks like fun (you usually see Woody, Mickey, Goofy, and a couple of others there). You'll definitely see Mickey at Cafe Mickey, and if you go for dinner there you'll usually see at least another half dozen characters, from a wide range of them.0 -
Hi
We are visiting Disneyland Paris @ the end of March and we are wondering what is the most cost effective way to eat there.
Currently we are B&B and are wondering if it is cheaper to upgrade to the half board supplement @ a cost of £60 for the 4 of us (2 adults + 2 Children aged 6, 8) or should we just risk it and buy the evening meals as we go?
Any help on this would be great
Thanks
Colin
to be honest if you really want to save money then eat in the village or Val d'europe instead of in the parks
there's always Maccy d's lol0 -

you can take big bags/rucksacks etc on almost all the rides - if not, there are little bag boxes on a couple of the rides. there is nowhere else to leave bags while you ride.
there are safes for your valuables in all the onsite rooms now.0 -

The sink is also what I was thinking although didnt realise they had an ice machine too - that will really help. Loks like this is the only option. Damn eye - its had all year to mess up and it chooses just before we go lol. Might ask around family and see if anyone has one of those small fridges and see if theres anyway I can fit it in my case. Thanks Balletshoes0 -

I was in DP in March for 3 nigts/ 4 days last year and was also on a budget. Next trip in 11 daysThroughout the whole hol I didnt pay more than about 40 euros for me and 2 children (3 and 6)- drinks incuded. Cheapest place by far is Mcd's - cost about 14 euros for us (ate there twice whilst in DP). We also ate at Annettes Diner- this cost about 38 euros, but I did get the kids a milkshake each that was about 6 euros. We also ate at Buzz Lightyears Pizza Planet which wasnt bad (is an all you can eat buffet) and if I remember correctly kids under 3 are free to eat. Cost about 35 euros all in if I remember correctly - also has a little soft play area that kids can play in whilst you eat which was a plus. Ate at Billy bobs in the village and although the food was very nice and only cost about 6 euros each, we saw a mouse just as we finished our meal  Needless to say we didnt pay and wouldnt go back. Also ate at the Last chance Cafe (right next to river boat in Disneyland park) - this was very reasonably priced, about 6/7 euros each again but food was very bland (and I was so looking forward to ribs that day
) . If your on a budget be prepared for loads of the same - chips, chips, chips lol. Wont kill for a couple of days though imho. Also, make sure you pack plenty of snacks and drinks as this can cut costs down. Bring some squash and refill with water at water fountains dotted about the parks. This is what we did and also bring some sandwich bags so you can take a few rolls etc from Breakfast into the park with you
. Check out http://www.dlpfoodguide.com/magickingdom.html - it gives a description of all restuaurants and price brackets (even has some menu pics with curent prices for some places). Hope this helps x

Hi
Cowboy cookout is fab, we did it 3 times in our 6 days, kids loved it, usually out was micky, minnie, goofy, pluto, woody and then 1 other, we had eeyore or rabbit.
We did half board but must of had a good deal on it, it cost us £358 for 5 days for 5 of us, works out about £14 per person per meal, we found this a saving as most of the time the reciept came to more then the meak voucher cost, at cowboy cook out you also get a voucher back for a drink from casy corner, usefull for hot choc for parade. I think it depends on the half board on how and where you use them. We also made reservations before we went, so always know when we where eating.
I can recomend getting a bladder for your rucksacks, we got ours from tescos, they are a bag that goes in your rucksack, and it has a long straw attachment,a hose with a valve on the end. We found that a 2 litre one was enough for us each day, but it was cold. we did get odd looks with it as it went through the x ray machine into the park each day lol0
