Hi All,
Just booked a trip to Disneyland Paris on the Eurostar on a total whim today! (most unlike me....). Have tickets departing from St.Pancras at 08.53 on 11th May and have just started to panic on how to get there for that early ion the morning! Travelling from Newport, South Wales......any tips or advice please....
Many thanks,0 -
You can get from Newport straight through to Paddington London, and the tube from there. Its an easy enough trip but check https://www.thetrainline.co.uk for prices and times - because its the time thats so important!!!0

Easting in the park is expensive, eating in duisney village is even more so!
The best value meals we have found is to eat the kids meals ( almost same size as the adult ones and 4 Euros cheaper!) at the fast food places
Also eating at the buffet service restaurants, one "Plaze gardens" is very reasonable for an all you can eat, 3 course meal.
we tend to fill up there, the kids meals are about 10 euros inc a drink and around £22 euros per adult ( buy a large bottle of mineral water to make it cheap on drinks) so not massivly expensive for a family, iven you can eat what you like and every taste is catered for!
Just dont rush to the coasters straight after!DFW £10923 (nov2014)0 -

Many thanks,
If it was me, then I'd be booking somewhere in London to stay overnight, otherwise I'd be worrying about delays/holdups along the way and missing the connection. Plus it shortens what will otherwise be a very long day.
JxxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0 -
My sister is wanting to go in the summer with her husband and 3 kids (9, 4 and 2). What's the cheapest way?
She was thinking about getting a budget flight to Paris and then booking direct as they have the kids under 7 stay free promo at the moment.
I'm sure in the past I've seen threads about getting it cheaper but can't seem to find them!
TIA.2p off is still 2p off!0 -
Thanks for that suggestion - sounds like a good one actually. Anyone have any idea if there is a cheap place to stay overnight before we go that will also let us leave the car there cheaply for a few nights?0

We've just got back and we found the cheapest adult mealt to be around 9 euros and 7 for a child. We spent about £350 for a weekend for 3 of us, but most of that went on gifts for other people as we bought for about 14 people but we also paid to have photos taken with the characters and some fancy frames for them too. Its not that expensive in there for gifts, probably about the same as a theme park here. The food may sound expensive but we went somewhere into Paris too and that was more expensive than eating in Disneyland. The RER station has a little shop which we used to buy drinks and snacks as it was cheaper than in Disneyland and you walk past the RER to get to the park from the shuttle bus so you dont have to go out of your way.Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -
Also wanted to add we had an excellent time. we only spent 2 days in the park but it wasnt long enough to see it all, we missed out one of the parks, disney cinema and disney village which I feel a bit gutted about. Id recommend at least 3 days in the park to enjoy it all without rushing. Its on average 50 mins waiting time for the rides and meet n greet with the characters.Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0
