RnRC does go upside down. I believe it does a loop straight after launch. SM is much more intense than the Orlando one.

Star Tours is a Star Wars type simulator ride. Its pretty cool

I thought it did, thanks, it has been a while since I've been on it. We went on Scorpian at BG and he had his first taster then, I just thought it was weird there was a different height restriction at DLP.

He loved SM but I was not so much a fan so daddy went on that with him, 3 times they went on it. DD not that impressed by it either. He is about 47" and was so upset he could not get onto RnRC that we just had to go to DLP as well :rotfl: And for Crushes Coaster as well which is my favourite Disney ride ever!!

I thought that about ST too, not really been that bothered by it but I think we will go on it this time just to give it a try. I don't like going on the fast rides too soon after breakfast though - too worried that I am going to see my breakfast again. Ha ha!!

I called about the 25% offer, note it says UP to 25% on the screen. It does not include Santa Fe and Cheyenne is only 10%. The price has actually gone UP since we booked and now the offer has been removed from Santa Fe altogether.

Was trying to see what the price was as, if the price has gone down, you can upgrade your booking and add things such as character meals, and the new booking price applies so you can get them for 'free'. If that makes sense. it hasn't so we have left it as it is.

We went on ToT about 11 times in 2 days in Orlando. My son's favourite ride now although we are going to DLP so he can go on RnRC. Does it go upside down? the height restriction at DLP is 42" and in Orlando it is 48". Likewise, SM is 42" in Orlando and 54" in DLP as the ride is more intense there and not recommended for under 10's (same with Indiana Jones).

Whats Star Tours? In all my years we have never been on it, I take it is like some simulator thing having a space fight like star wars. Sounds boring to be fair, anyone know. Is it like simpsons ride in Florida?

RnRC turns the first corner then stops counts down then zoooooooooooooms off and does a loop. I think it might have 2 loops but it also spins round the track at one point so your upside down. It is probably my favorite ride ever!

DD has just turned 11 and only got measured for Indiana Jones Temple of Peril which to be honest we were both bricking it as it loops the loop but after the 1st go we loved it and went on it loads :D

Star Tours is alright for Star Wars fans as the bit you queue up in has CP30 and little R2D2's behind the barriers so you can get good pics of them.
The actual ride is a simulator but its in French and was abit boring to be honest. You get thrown about in your seat a few times.
I would try it once along as I wouldnt have to queue for more then 5mins.

I've got a park map with the heights if you want anymore info on that.

    Hope i've helped a bit :)

    Crushes Coaster is brilliant!
Thought it would be slow and kiddish but 1st time we went on it we were backwards and boy did me and dd scream! lol

Thanks Steph, I thought it did. As I say DS went on Scorpian and that looped and he was not sure, he knows that RnRC has a loop in Florida but he was so upset that he could not go on it. I wonder why the size difference.

We are on our 5,6, 7th.... can;t remember, LOL, visit now, but have never done Star Tours as we are not really sci-fi people but if we have time..... We have been to Florida loads of times but never been on it there either. Wanted to know whether I was missing much.

BTM is much better in DLP than it is Florida as well. Can't wait for ToT and Crushes Coaster. They do a tour of ToT on a saturday morning but I've never been able to face Saturday there with all the people, although I'd LOVE to be able to see inside and look at how it works. :D

We could not get on the Eurostar for the dates we wanted so we are drivingfor the first time. Flying just seemed to take up too much time from our holiday and we would still have to get to DLP from the airport.

So ee are going on the Eurotunnel for £130 - paid for by Clubcard points - but can be done cheaper if you are flexible with your travel times, you can get up to 9 people in a vehicle for that price. How about hiring a minibus and sharing the driving between the adults or taking 2 cars? You'll save a bomb and can please yourself then. We are just west of you in herts. It'll take 6 or 7 hours to get there - it'll take that long on the train and flying by the time you get to Ashford/London or the airport and have to wait for check in.

We are staying at CDG airport overnight both ways so we can get there early and leave late on our first and last days and will not be knackered for driving or theme parking. :D Someone else has said they checked in before at 7.45am and went off to EMH and this is what we intend on doing.

I'd always recommend a package at Disneyland paris with combined tickets as it is much cheaper.

We dont usually find out until the day before if a new offer is getting promoted. However, they usually have a week or two with no offer then a new one comes out, whether its free travel, free hb vouchers, a discount who knows.
There wont be any from Nov 8th onwards as those dates aren't available yet to book.

we are hoping to go next year around may, june time. thomas cook said that to come in about 11 months in advance when the dates become avilable. is this right?? they say its because the flights (air france) will be cheaper that way. Are dates aviable that far in advance. i was told by 2 of there staff members

the winter dates (ie November this year to early April next year) should be published next month, and I'd guess, going on previous years, April to October 2012 dates would be published around September this year.
