Hi, have had a charity pay the cost of a holiday in march to disneyland, but have to book our own tranfer from CDG to Disneyland, but i am finding it impossible to find a company that takes wheelchairs! The son needs to travel in the chair and so needs and adapted taxi/bus. Any Idea? Also, does the train take wheelchairs and if so how far is the station from the sequna lodge hotel? Thanks
As a travel agent we advise our customers to use a company called alp line.
I used them myself when I went last year and the mini buses they use can take a wheelchair.0 -
hi all, am driving out to see family in august in france from the uk and thought the children may enjoy a night or two in disney, could you please advise as to the cheapest way to do this please as it would be really stretching the budget if we can manage it at all. thankyou
when we looked on the website it was coming up around £500 for the four of us to stay for one night and entrance for one day. 2 adults and two children aged 11 and 8. seemed a bit steep to me or is this usualnow proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0 -
Can you tell me how you got free meals, or have I missed that deal?
Thanks
I think that deal has ended as I looked last week and could not find it. Sign up for emails on the DLP website and you'll be the first to know when they have the offers running.
ATM they are offering 30% off so it's worth having a look at as you still get free nights and kids go free.
However, do compare what the price would be booking the Eurostar/Flight yourself first. Always compare and check Expedia for accomodation too. They are sometimes cheaper because of cashback via Quidco.
We are still trying to justify going back in February when we came back from Florida in November. I soooooo want to go again. I miss going on the rides0 -
Any help appreciated!
My son starts school in September so I'm keen to get a trip to Eurodisney in before it has to be in a half term. I have been but years back - pre kids. I'm looking to just take the 2 of us (me and son) in June and on a Wed/Thur/Fri via Eurostar but have a few questions I can't seem to find answers to.
1. Is it better to book a package deal for everything as opposed to separately? Any tips on operators offering best deals on this sort of thing?
I always price up an onsite hotel (Santa Fe or Cheyenne) with park tickets included on the official site - they are offering up to 30% discount at the moment for June trips. Book travel separately direct with Eurostar. Park tickets on their own are expensive, but you could also have a look at one of the associated hotels (Kyriad, Explorers, Magic Circus) and then add park tickets prices to get a comparison price. Lots of agent companies sell the associated hotels, and park tickets can be bought from various agents too.
2. I thought about staying at the Davy Crockett Ranch to save costs (by self catering) but sounds like you need transport as no shuttle to park - any way around if you don't have your car there? If not, any suggestions on accommodation?
you do need a car if staying at the Davy Crockett, and if you're only staying for 2 nights, if you're careful where you choose to eat you don't need to spend that much more on food compared with self catering.
3. Assume 2 days in park more than enough time?
if its 2 full days, then yes, for a first trip, i'd say thats fine.
Many thanks!

thats all a matter of opinion - personally I didn't rate it, as its such a huge hotel. I think I'd prefer the Hotel New York or the Sequoia Lodge.
2. How busy will the park be in April?
when in April - during school holidays? Very busy, as most European countries, including France of course, have school holidays at Easter.
3. FastTrack Pass and Premiums Passes - Whats the difference and where do you get these?
Fastpass is available to every guest on each ride which has the fastpass facility. Premium fastpass you pay for (per person per day, I believe is somewhere in the region of 50 or 60 euros per person per day), and it gives you access to the fastpass facility rides even if the normal fastpass has reached its capacity. Unless you are going in high season and only for a day, I personally don't think the premium fastpass is worth the money.
Thanks

if you're only going for one night and one day in the parks, I think, in August, you would be much cheaper staying offsite and paying for one-day park tickets when you get there. There are loads of hotels around DLP, including Etap, Ibis etc etc. The associated hotels are just along the road from the Disney hotels, and served by a free shuttle bus too (Kyriad, Explorers, Dream Castle, Magic Circus). Various agents sell these hotels without park tickets.0 -
Expedia are currently cheaper than DLP direct for accomodation plus tickets - PLUS it is 10% cashback. I was looking for Feb half term so check both sites before booking. DLP for Hotel Cheyenne for 2 nights is £448 and on Expedia it is £427 with £42.70 cashback.0
