Hey I'm going for my 40th too! Well and dhs whose bday is bout 2 weeks later - but we'll be there on my b'day!!! Never thought about doing 40 Disney type things - tho with a 6 and 4 yr old in tow mite not work so well - apart from 40 different toilets, 40 requests for some expensive toy etc lol
Have fun
Sal x
he he! We have taken our son since he was 3 and we've definately done 40 toilets - or at least it feels like it! Have a great time - when do you go?
No Mikey72 I am not Italian, and I am a very considerate motorhomer. I haven't been there for the long periods that you obviously have, but on our 2 stays at the aire for Disney visits we have had no problems at all with anyone there. Lets take advice from Thumper shall we "If you can't say anything nice....."Be the change you want to see :j0 -
Thanks ballet shoes. I was just wondering if there were any cheaper options? TGV is 90 euros (return) which sounds a good option but there is a big gap in the service - our plane lands at 11.20 and trains leave at 11.43 or 13.01 . Not sure where TGV gets in or alternatively, how long VEA shuttle takes? Any advice from anyone would be great.0

You could get some lunch at the airport before catching the TGV at 13.01? There are lots of cafes, fast food, sandwich bars etc in terminal 2, where the TGV station is. I must admit, the TGV is my preferred option - but if you have a lot of luggage or a buggy to bring with you, its maybe not the most convenient (that would be a private shuttle). If your children aren't toddlers though, its perfectly doable on the TGV - and the journey time really is only 10 minutes. VEA is about one hour, and drops off at each onsite hotel. Private shuttle is about 40 minutes.

I can't say I've had problems, it's been very enjoyable, and I would definately do it again.
It's a good location to catch the metro into Paris, we stayed there for a week when the annual pass wouldn't let us into the park.
Even shopping in val d'europe on the metro when I didn't drive there from the park, and negotiate the hieght barrier.
I don't think the vanners are inconsiderate, It's just a fact of life there.
I've had some good chats to coach drivers as well, they have no problems with vanners, in fact most of the ones I spoke to came back to the aire themselves in their vans.
I still think the list I posted is fairly true though.
edit-- if you buy annual passes reguarly, become a shareholder, join the shareholder club (20 shares) and you'll get a further 15% off the annual passes, and most other things in the park, instead of the 10% with the fantasy pass.

I presume that you have to pay the whole cost when you book it?
If you book on the Disneyland Paris website yes you do, however if you call them you only need to pay 10% deposit initially.0 -
Hi,
I am looking for some advice on a few bits..I know some of these will have been covered but have found it hard to find answers to them through all the pages...
1. What's the cheapest way to get from the airport to disneyland? We land at 1.45pm and wont be able to check in 'till 3pm I guess so time will not be of an issue (as long as we are checked into room and have a bit of time before the fireworks show..we arrive on 5th November)
2. I am taking my girlfriend, and I am looking for an extra special restaurant for the Saturday 6th November (birthday and anniversary), any suggestions?
3. What time does the park open/close?
We are staying at Dreamcastle, any other tips would be appriciated.
Thanks in advance...0 -

We are travelling there via Eurostar on the Sunday and staying in the Kyriad for the first night, then our first day in the park will be Monday, we go home on Thursday. We aren't too bothered about sit down meals, maybe we will have one in the course of the holiday. There's 2 adults, a 3 year old and a 2 year old. Thanks

Hi we're going on Sept 30th and staying in the Sequioa Lodge for 3 nights and travelling by Eurostar direct - think I'm more excited about the train at the mo. Hopefully the weather should still be dry and warmish - I've had good weather here on my b'day for the last couple of years.
Whens your trip?
Sal x
You might be checking into our room as we check out on 30th:rotfl: You have cheered me up about the weather. We bought our son new clothes for hols (ok it might only be a short break but it is our main holiday and we have new clothes) and got him 3 big jumpers and new jeans and a new jacket :rotfl:my friend laughed at me and said i had better get him some lighter weight stuff.
I am sooooooooo excited now:j:j:j like a big kid andds is so into buzz lightyear he can't wait ti see him. We have bought buzz and woody here ready to take with us as it was cheaper here but father christmas has bought him a kiddizoom camera (thank you tesco double up points vouchers on toys) and oh is telling me off because i want to give it to ds to take now grrrrrrr men are no fun :rotfl:I might see if a friend's ds will lend me his to take.
We have booked wild west bill show and cafe mickey :eek::eek: cost mega but as this is my ebay holiday it is free (we couldn't afford a hol this year but i have paid for this by selling on ebay) so thought we'd treat ourselves. Any other nice tips out there for ds who is 3:happyhear YUMMY MUMMY TO HENRY BEAR AGED 10:happyhearslimming world need to get back to target 25lb to goDisney World here we come May 2018:j0 -

From what i have read here and on other sites you go to the hotel checkin and leave your luggage (unlikely your room will be ready) and they give you your tickets so you can enjoy that first day. And on the last day you check out and leave the luggage there and then go and enjoy your day and when you are ready to go come go and collect it.:happyhear YUMMY MUMMY TO HENRY BEAR AGED 10:happyhearslimming world need to get back to target 25lb to goDisney World here we come May 2018:j0
