I am planning a campervan jaunt to DLP in November as I can't think of anywhere I would rather celebrate being 40! I'm planning a series of '40 themed things', so I am working on a list of 40 things I want to do in the year, but I also thought about pictures with 40 Disney characters (will probably have to include statues in this).
We will be on a budget (staying in van on park using annual passes) but I want to make it special. So any thoughts on what I can do, and if my 40 is possible?Be the change you want to see :j0 -

I would say 40 characters is doabke but depends how long you go for and where you eat, if you eat at character meals this will boost your photo chances a lot and do all the meet and greets. going through my photos we met over 40 but we ate at Inventions and Auburge, went to every meet and greet and joined the character scrums off the train that goes down main street lol. Also if you stand behind the stage at stars n cars parade you will see loads of characters as this is where they were signing books etc and some of these are unusual so you dont see them in the park such as cruella de ville, lilo and stitch, snow white, mulan etc
I would say a character meal would be great for your birthday and preorder a cake. Depending on your budget and the food you like but Id recommend Auburge if your into princess's, the food here is small but nice, its quality over quantity plus you get unlimited wine! Inventions is lovely too and again expensive but all you can eat and lovely views of the park which if you go after 8th November you will see the castle and xmas tree all lit up! Cafe Mickey is a cheaper option where you can order from a pizza to a set mealWins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -

Pull the annoying cable you have just fallen over again out of the toilet block it shouldn't be in (and you really shouldn't be using either for the shower come to that) 40 times. (in the dark, as late as possible)
As all the water is off, watch everyone empty the toilet over and around the dump point and walk it back over 40 times.
Try to back over a drain to empty your waste water discretly and fail 40 times.
Join the queue of 40 others as someone is filling their camper with a hosepipe from the only drinking water point.
Start your engine 40 times at 2.00am.
See if you can get 40 of the stickers about staying overnight without paying that all the Italian motorhomes have.
Best though.
Put sugar in 40 generators in the car park.
In the park, get your own back and push in front of 40 italians.0 -
I have just seen the new offer for Disney land paris using clubcard vouchers. Bu tdoes anyone know how you use your voucers for the day passes and then book a disney hotel seperately. Would be greatful for any advice on this thank you.
We used to have an annual pass and just phoned and booked the Disney hotel separately. You get a reduction because you don't need the included park tickets.
Not sure about the Tesco offer as I've not used it but it looks as if you just order the tickets on the Clubcard page as with other offers.
I have another question though - does anybody know if you can get the Tesco day tickets and then upgrade them to an annual pass? You can just take your normal day ticket to the annual pass office as far as I know and upgrade it there.0 -

You can, but over the past couple of years Disney room only booked through Disney has worked out more expensive than booking a hotel and tickets package. Depending on when you intend visiting DLP, Expedia sell Disney onsite hotels room only, and are usually competitive.0 -

I can't see why not - as long as its a normal one-day park ticket you get from Tesco, and you upgrade it to an AP on the day you use it as a park entrance ticket, it should be accepted just like any other day ticket purchased from various ticket agents selling DLP park tickets.0 -

I thought they refunded the cash value of the day tickets, which would be zero for the tesco tickets.0 -

I guess it depends whats printed on the ticket - if its "nil" or "forfait" for the price thats printed on the ticket, then you're right, that ticket wouldn't be able to be upgraded to an AP and get a discount on the AP. But I don't know what the Tesco ticket would say for the price - as usually its only park tickets which are included in hotel package which say "nil" or "forfait" on them.0
