Been searching the thread but can't find a proper comparison. Of the two budget hotels santa fe and cheyenne, which is better or have people had better experiences with?0

I've stayed at both in my time and I prefer the Cheyenne. The bunk beds make sleeping arrangements easier and kids seem to prefer the wild west theming. I also found the lay out of Santa Fe confusing and had to trudge me, 1 five year old, and our luggage round the hotel and then back to reception when I couldn't find our room the first time. The Santa Fe does have the advantage of having an Esso station on site which is handy for cheap(er) drinks and snacks etc.
Tripadvisor have Cheyenne on 87% recommend and Santa Fe on 83% so there's not much between them on that score.0 -

I used Premium vouchers last year and used them for BBWWS (we added a few euros ourselves to get premium seats) and as part payment on a fantastic meal at the California Grill at the DL Hotel. We sat right by the window overlooking the park as people were leaving and had a perfect view of the castle all lit up.
We visited last April and bought the vouchers not just to help us budget, but also because at that point Disney had locked in the prices of the vouchers before the exchange rate went south for the winter meaning we were getting a little extra bang for our buck. I gather since then Disney have changed their prices for the meal plan.
As a rough guide, BBWWS will set you back £50 per adult according the the DLP official site and meal vouchers are quoted as £44 on DLRP Magic. So that's a £6 saving there.0 -
Because of the way the euro is it is worth the money to get the vouchers for the halfboard option.
I have been going to DLP for 15 years and Christmas just gone was the 1st time we atually did the half board option. It saved us a ton of money not sure if it was just down to budgeting.0 -

I was in a similar situation. I've been visiting the resort since 1992, but only used the half-board option last year. Partly because we wanted to eat at nicer restaurants and partly because the euro was so bad.
If you're planning to eat well they're worth it - if you're a burger and fries family they're probably less so.0 -
dlp meal vouchers arent worth it, theres many ppl on disboards saying the same, disneyland paris have dropped their exchange rate making the vouchers more expensive apparently now you save 10% off your meals or so they advertise it but most people find you dont save anything. for example if you use half board at auburge (the princess meal) you have to pay extra for the photos 20 euros i think someone said, if you dont use half board you get free photos and unlimited drinksWins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0
