hiya just wondering does anyone think that disney will be having the free meals offer on again at all. thought this was great when we went because we managed to get kids under 12 stay play and travel free plus free meals for all 4 of us, meant we got a bargain and would be good if this was an offer again.

Hi not sure this time around, but i am pretty sure that from tomorrow 1-3-2010 that the 40% offer will be on the site. Be aware that they have actually put the Half Board prices up by quite a bit this year compared to last, so if they don't do the free meals offer then it might be wise to look at other options then half board depending on your length of stay.
  • We are going at the end of the month by Eurostar from St.Pancras.
Where do you recommend parking in London for the duration?

Hi! I'm going to Disneyland Paris next week and was thinking if I should take euros with me or just the debit card would be enough... I'm sure you can pay by card everywhere (shops and restaurants), could anyone confirm this please?

Also, I'd like to know how to use the "baby switch" service. Do we have to tell when we join the queue or when we're about to enter the atraction?

    Thanks in advance.
  • the 40% off deal is on NOW - grab yourself a massive bargain!
save energy - stay in bed x

Regarding taking euros over a debit card, I prefer to take euros as I find it easier to budget - you also know what exchange rate you'll get. I then use my card for back up. Maestro/Visa debit can be used everywhere.

As for the baby switch, it's best to advise every Cast Member (employee) that you encounter along the queue route, but it'll be the last one you see who will usually implement the "swap".

You can book half board which is meant to save you 10% but most people have found it doesnt save you anything. Although it helps you budget as it means you dont have to worry about paying for that 1 meal a day.

If you have girls I highly recommend auburge de cendrillion, you get to see the princess's, prince and cinderellas mice. Its a bit expensive cost us about £110 for 2 adults and a child but was worth every penny for the intervention

Inventions is good too, loads characters there they vary but we saw micky, minnie, dee, dum, chip, dale, tiger, goofy, eeyore, pinocchio, some duck. But this is around £50 pp for an all you can eat buffet, not sure on the kids price as dd was under 3 so under 3s eat free at buffets.

Cafe Mickey is another good one, you can choose anything depending on your budget from just a pizza, burger etc to a set meal. We saw Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, some king lion, the Carpenter
