I have just booked up to go to Disney in December, i found that if you book direct and go through Quidco you get £14.
It all helps

hello - go, you'll have a fab time.
we took our 2 boys in may and all had the best time. have you checked flights? we got flights for the 4 of us to paris for under £100 return on bmi baby. then we got a car transfer to disney about £50 each way but worth it. straight there, no messing, dvd screens for kids - great.
we stayed at the cheyenne and it was fantastic for the price. cowboy themed, lovely rooms and a short scenic walk to the parks (10mins).
we booked direct with disney and did the kids under 7 offer which was great value.
couple of tips - its worth getting fast passes and going on a couple of lesser queue rides while you wait for your slot. look out for them and try to plan around them.
the food is rubbish in park but you kind of dont have much choice - fill up on the (still rubbish but at least free) breakfast and eat minimally in park.
in the disney village i'd recommend the steak rest - really delicious but expensive, the rainforest cafe - great fun for kids, and mickeys cafe - meet all their fave characters without the queues!

A lot of schools are not having their 2 week end of term break actually at Easter next year as Easter is so early (i.e. they just have Good Friday and Easter Monday off, then go back to school for 2 weeks, before breaking up for the end of term). A number of travel companies have not noticed this, and so holidays around Easter are classed as Peak, with the actual holiday period being off peak.
Disneyland Paris has made this mistake, and so you can go during school holidays at low season prices! The prices for April are only valid for bookings before the end of October, when I'm sure they'll correct the problem. Also, if you book before the end of October, all children under the age of 7 go free.:T
So if you are thinking about going to Disneyland Paris for the "Easter" school holidays, it's worth booking now, before the pricing structure changes at the end of this month.0 -
hi,
Can anyone help me please i am looking to purchase 2 adult tickets for the date covering 29th Dec 07 to 1st Jan 08 when i visit disneyland paris theme park. I would consider purchasing a 2 or 3 day hopper pass.
The cheaspest place so far is themepark tickets direct at £122 for a 2 day hopper. I have never used them before so dont know how good they are or if anyone can find cheaper. Please only recommend safe ticket providers please with a good reputation.
Your response is much anticipated.0 -
Thank you so much!

I wasn't sure we'd be able to afford it in school holidays, but not only are we going, but we can also stay in a nice hotel, not caravans pretending to be log cabins (is anyone fooled by this?)
The difference between peak and off peak for us was over £300, plus another nearly £100 for the free child's pass.
Now we just have to keep quiet about it til atleast March, or I'll get asked every day if it's time to go there yet!0 -
I tried pricing up a 4 day break staying at a Disney hotel in January for myself, wife and 4-y-o daughter, travelling by Eurostar and it came in at £1000! I couldn't believe it. Last January we went to Disney in Florida and I only spent £2500 including all spending money, annual insurance, cattery, travel etc.
Eurodisney is a huge rip off.0 -
Hi there. I'm writing here because I am a student who wants a budget holiday to disney. I will be going with either 2 or 3 of my friends (depending on finances) so that's 3 or 4 adults. My friend wants to stay in the park for some reason so we were looking at santa fe as being the best bet. Considering we will not be driving, what would be the cheapest way to get there and where would be the cheapest to book? I live in Southampton by the way. We were quoted about 300 each for 4 adults on the eurostar by Thomas cook but I was hoping for something cheaper.0

Im not an expert on disneyland paris (if it was wdw in florida i would be the person to ask-lol!) but I have been twice and stayed onsite.
I know you can get youth tickets on the eurostar for about £59 return to paris by booking directly on the eurostar website and then get the metro to disney for about 5-10 euros (I may be wrong but I am sure someone will correct me!). Then its just hotel and park tickets. You put 4 people in one room (it will be cosy but it will keep costs down!!) and you get breakfast included in the disney hotels so make sure you eat loads. Have a play on official disney website for hotel/ticket costs. I know there they have offers such as stay 3 nights get the 4th night free. Last minute.com has deals too but I usually find the official site is cheaper!
Good luck!
Edited to add: Just had a quick look on the disney website and not sure they will allow 4 adults in one room but it is still cheaper than Thomas Cook: £151 per person based on 2 sharing at Santa Fe Hotel for 3 days, 2 nights, including breakfast, accommadation and park tickets for 3 days.So about £210 each inclusing eurostar and metro.Competition Challenge 2007 - Win your internet fees back in prizes = £349.87/£1560 -
Thanks for that, I tried it out and I think it comes to about 500 pounds for the three of us which is brilliant.0

Transport: head for Paris. There are flights there from Southampton and a range of other airports; or you can take a ferry from Portsmouth to one of the Channel ports and get your train tickets on to Paris cheaply by booking on the voyages-sncf website.
But if you are students then surely you are a bit old for Disney? Paris itself has loads to offer.0
