Was that online/in store/over the phone or what as I'm still getting qutoed £30+ for a single trip to france
Just checked the PO via Quidco again and it is saying £30 standard rate and in fact the cashback is 14% when I got it is was a flat £4.75. Sorry about misleading you, they must have increased their rates for the summer holidays.0 -
Have looked at train fares and it`ll be 65 each for train and then 59 each for eurostar....that`s 744 for us all!!!!
surely there`s a cheaper way??£2008 in 2008 (187) £186.

flying from cardiff is around 70 each..
but then santa fe is 500 more expensive than davy, so prob all ghonna work out the same sort of price.
my options are:
1.drive 2 cars to london stay in travel lodge 1 night to get free parking then eurostar
costing: 100petrol, 100 hotel, 300 eurostar santa fe 1300 total 1800
2. hire car, drive all
cost: hire car 180, petrol 200,ferry 50, dv crock 850(but will be able to make pk lunches everyday, & take own food) total 1280
3. fly
cost: santa fe 1300, flights 450 petrol&park cardiff 100 total 1850
I think the hire car and drive is looking like best option, any one got any other ideas??£2008 in 2008 (187) £186.

yes not sure if this has affected disneyland paris prices though as it would cost a fortune for them to reprint all menus for the new prices. even still it only takes a fee £s off the price, many people were thinking it was 12% off the total price of the food
I'm sure I saw someone's photo on another forum showing a menu with a little red micky on the items that the discount applied to but just can't seem to get it confirmed off anyone lol

Found it...
Photos Magiques DLP news report: 05-06 July 2009
The VAT has dropped in France on certain food items, which results in a modest drop of certain restaurant prices as well. All courses that benefit from the VAT drop are marked with a Mickey balloon on the menu's. An example from Auberge de Cendrillon:

I am looking to book 4 nights from 9th November at a cost of £868 at the Newport Bay Accom only (Eurostar already booked 9-13Nov). I am trying to keep the cost to a minimum (obviously). I know the cost goes up on the 9th November but if I were to book for 5nts from 8th November the cost comes down to £689 a saving of £179.
My thinking is I advise Disney I will be checking in early on 9th Nov which is why I am booking from 8th Nov, but I also wanted to book Half Board plus which I know I have to book for the full duration which means I will end up with an extra voucher.
After all that my question is :- are the half board vouchers dated as I could use them for an extra meal whilst we are there ?
Sorry for the long winded question, hope somebody can help.
spoke to Disneyland Paris............
I can use the extra Half Board voucher whilst I am there and they will make a note on the booking that I will be arriving on the 9th November.
I have now booked and saved £100 , £45 cashback through Quidco and have an extra half board voucher.Born and bred in Manchester (proud of it)
Now living on the other side of the Pennines0 -
Ive been told they arent dated and if Disneyland says you can use it whilst your there then they will be right.Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0

I found very little that had changed with the VAT reduction in the Disney Village. A few things on the Planet Hollywood menu had notices next to them saying they were reduced VAT but in all honesty it was so expensive food wise that its probably not making a massive difference.0
