Cheyenne is the nearest one, 10 mins walk or just a few mins on the lil bus. Explorers is the furthest away and the bus drops there last. I would say Explorers is more of a hotel set up with all amenities under one roof where as Cheyenne is set like apartments. Both equally as great .The cowboy and indian theme of cheyenne is really good fun with the wigwams and dancing indians, and saddle bar stools. What is EMH?0

Hello, I am looking at going to DLP on thurs 19th Feb for one night, we have been to DLP a few times before but have always gone direct trains with Eurostar, now we can only do the date I have stated for work commitment reasons and find that there is no direct eurostar available, the ones have a change at Lille, now my question is how easy is the change at Lille, and is the change eurostar to eurostar or eurostar to TGV train? another option is to fly I have managed to find Easyjet flights for the 3 of us for £200 and the santa fe and park tickets for £230, my worry about flying is the connection from landing, customs and connecting the TGV train, what happens if our easyjet flight is delayed and we have booked TGV train for a certain time?0

i haven't done the change @ lille but its easy apparently.you change to the TGV
theres a thread about it here : http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2048780
i would go via eurostar rather than fly, if only going for one night

Thanks for the link will go check it out in a mo, the flight is really early and only takes an hour, also its quite late coming back the next day, so dont think theres too much in it, we are an hours drive from Luton airport or Ashford International so again no difference, if I go airport I get to do some duty free shopping too (but wont mention that to OH) managed to get the flights down to £184 now with alpha rooms. Santa fe with park tickets is £230, transfer with TGV is £81 and airport parking £17 so all in all flying is working out - £512, cheapest package with eurostar is £568 plus parking at Ashford.0 -
We're staying in Cheyenne next week, have stayed there before, we like it, haven't stayed at Explorers though.
Personally I would go for the Disney hotel. If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in0 -
Wouldn't let me edit, I mean Disney hotel as in one of the Disney hotels, not the expensive Disney hotel. If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in0

i've never flown to DLRP, but i think with eurostar theres less hassle ,ie no transfers needed etc,and you are straight to the magic :T
the returning train from DLRP goes quite late in the evening doesnt it ? so you would have the whole day in the parks anyway
this is what we did for our wkend trip just before xmas,so had half the day there on the sat and the whole day sunday
good luck whatever you decide
