I got quite excited there thinking I had some replies!
Aren't Disneyland doing a special offer for under 7s this year? i think they get to stay and get park admission free. Here's hoping someone can help both of us!0 -
Hi chocaholic110, you can get a direct bus (a big red disneyland coach) from the front of the terminal I think it starts at terminal 3 and stops at all the terminals. It will take you right to the front door of The Santa Fe hotel and it will pick you up at the front door to take you back to Charles De Gaulle Airport when you are leaving. The cost is 16 Euros for each person each way, so thats 32 Euros each return. With there being that many of you it would maybe be cheaper to get a private airport shuttle as they start at 75 Euros each way. Here is the address of a useful website
http://www.shuttle-airport.eu/charles-de-gaulle-airport-shuttle.htm
I hope this helps, and I hope you all have a great time.:)0 -
Thanks. Found the shuttle bus prices 16 euros for adults and 13 for children. Also tried pricing minibus from the link you gave which (I think) gave the price as 123 euros each way so not really much difference in price, i don't think.
Any hints and tips??0 -
Hi, We are about to go in 3 weeks for our 6th time. We always fly and then get the bus as it is really simple to follow the signs at the airport. When leaving disney the staff will have a timetable and they will give you the relevant times.
One tip regarding eating- the breakfast is huge and you can help yourself to anything. Last time we went in feb we took extra croissants which my little girl snacked on in the day! Also we ate so much at breakfast we often dont buy lunch, we just get a small snack which keeps us going til later. The food is the biggest expense, but there is a Mc Donalds in the village which is usual prices. We stay at Cheyanne which does an all you can eat buffet in the evenings, I think Santa Fe does the same. Dont bother buying drinks with meals if you are all happy with water, they are only too happy to provide it. We never paid for any meals for our little girl whos 2, she ate off ours and the staff will bring an extra plate in most resturants, the portions are huge! If you have spare space in luggage take cartons of drink or bottles of water, if it is hot the cost of drinks can soon build up, and they only really sell fizzy drinks at the kiosks.
With regards to queing, it is un avoidable really, but use fast pass wherever you can, particularly for Peter Pans flight and Buzz Light year ride. The rides are quieter early morning and during parades which are about 4pm usually.
Hope this helps, have a great time!:rotfl:0 -
That is excellent - just the sort of info we were looking for! Thanks!
Congratulations on your first post - it's a good 'un!!0 -
For cheaper drinks and snacks (crisps, sweets etc) there is a petrol station almost opposite the Santa Fe, we usually stay at The Cheyenne and we walk to the petrol station from there (5 minutes) so about 2 minutes from The Santa Fe. With children the cost of all the drinks etc soon mount up.:)0

They certainly are!
We stayed at the Sequoia Lodge (which I think is next to the Santa Fe) a couple of weeks ago. When we were there the park opened two hours earlier than normal for hotel guests, and whilst not every ride opened early, it was good for rides such as the Buzz Lightyear ride to avoid the queues.
For airport transfers, I take it you did not book direct with Disney. I think that if you book your flights and accommodation through them then the airport transfers are free. We ended up on minibus on the way there and the 'normal' bus on the way back for our airport transfers.
For food, we used the tabacs in the train station for snacks on occasion.
Anyway have a fantastic time. Do you want any further info?Today is the first day of the rest of your life0 -
No we booked via an travel agent who booked the flights and hotle separately.
I saw on the website that they do extra magic hours two hours before the park is officially open - might be worth going early do you think?
Yes, any extra info you have would be great. Ideas on cheap places to eat etc.
What would everyone else expect to spend on a 4 day trip - including transfer fees?0 -
Hi, my 3 year says he want to go to the big castle, with peter pan and mickey. Would so so much love to take him. My DP suggested December.
DS will be 4 on the 10th dec.
I would be grateful for any info, regarding disneyland paris, flight, hotels, passes, transfers.
Have looked on the disney site, coming out at around £1000 for the three of us for 3 nights the week of his birthday. WOW. Not good with christmas so very near.0
