Thats great thanks, DS doesn't have fizzy drinks and drinks like a fish so I'd rather not have to buy drinks every 5 minutes
We have 4 weeks 6 days to go :j :j
Hope you have a nice time next week and the weather is much better than over here for you :D

Thanks, I dont let DD drink fizzy drinks either. They do sell bottles of orange juice in DLP but theyre small and something like 2 euros a bottle (ish). Apparently there are water drinking sinks there,so Im taking a small bottle of squash and will jsut fill up DD drinks bottle as she drinks loads!

When we went last time we filled 2 drinking bottles up for her of juice from brekkie at our hotel :D

Does anyone know where the drinking water is in DLP?

    7 days to go :j

    Hi there

there are lots of drinking water fountains placed all around the park. We used these quite alot when we went in July as it was really hot.

I have read through this thread 'til I am blue in the face. We are off to DLP on the 11th Dec for 4 nights staying at the Cheyenne. Flying into CDG. Need to get from there to Hotel, and back. Travelling with 11year old (this is a treat after doing the 11 plus exam). What is the easiest, cheapest, best way to get to hotel? Many thanks TrishaM

    Any ideas anyone????

    Hi everyone,

Been looking at booking a trip to disneyland for 3 nights with a group of mates (6 of us) but we have no idea where to stay. Obviously its easier to stay in the resort but its so expensive!!! (were happy to have 3 in a room, or even all 6 of us if possible!)

Ive looked at the closest ibis and novotel but its not easy to get there (well the ibis is, but thats as expensive as staying in the resort!)

Does anyone have any reccomendations? We dont mind travelling 15 - 20 minutes on the train each day to get there as long as its a directish route.

    Suggestions?!

hi we ( family of 4 ,plus 2 friends) stayed here : http://www.expedia.co.uk/pub/agent.dll/qscr=dspv/nojs=1/htid=913993 ( used tesco clubcard deals to pay for it via frenchlife )
in August ,they have shuttle buses or you can get the train ,its just one stop away from Disney :)
very easy journey, trains run til late too

we ( family of 4 ) are going again in Dec and staying here : http://www.expedia.co.uk/pub/agent.dll/qscr=dspv/nojs=1/htid=1680541
same area, but even closer to the train station !

if you have a search on Expedia and you can search by "nearest" .there are quite a few in the val d'europe area

If you book with them use code HOTELSAVE and go through quidco too !

hi guys only 5 weeks today till my trip to dlp.
ive been looking for the best way to get from airport to hotel and i think the shuttle bus seems the easiest option have been on the vea website where the prices are 17 euros adult and 13 euros child per trip.
is this each way??i think it is.
would we be better to book it before we go or will this just complicate things?

    Hi,

We did Disney last month for 3 days - each day we took in drink bottles for each of the children, 3 off and 1 for wife and self along with crisps, made up rolls from baguettes, mars bars and other snacks. Never been an issue on the gate when the bag has been searched.

There are water fountains around if needed - bottles can be re-filled if req'd.

The French didn't do squash as we know it! If in doubt take your own although it is possible to get Ribenna from the supermarkets.

In answer to earlier posts, Auchan do not do tobacco - French law states only a Tabac can sell tobacco. Auchan have a web site in English where you can compare the prices - www.auchancalais.com. You can now use an UK card at the 24 hr fuel pumps.

    Rgds
