first week of December always gets a flash sale price on one of the official DLP website's offers. You'd need to wait until late September/early October next year to book it though.

What deal are you getting just now if you're considering booking at the moment?

about 1400 for New York with half board. Loads more than last year when I went. Just found out you have to pay for breakfast. Might have to look at a hotel outside park. Always stayed in New York for the hot breakfast. Expensive at 19 euros each and 18 euros for child

I'd wait then, and book something closer to your travel date.

We returned on Saturday after the most amazing 3 nights in Sequoia lodge. Certainly made up for our trip being cancelled last November when Disney shut due to the terrorist attack in Paris. The park was so beautifully done up and the village was lovely with all the little food huts serving crepes, waffles, mulled wine etc. The park was extremely busy as we had been expecting but we went on everything we planned. I even went on the aerosmith ride much to my families disbelief!!

It was the coldest holiday we have ever had though, with freezing fog 2 of the days which meant the firework and laser show was cancelled on one of the nights due to poor visibility. We were literally wearing every item of clothing in the park most days, even wearing my nightshirt underneath :o

I would certainly go again at Christmas but probably the beginning of December. I can also thoroughly recommend http://www.interserviceprestige.com/ as a transfer service. It cost 140 euros return for 6 of us and on the morning of our departure, I had a phone call asking if it was OK to pick us up 1/2 hour earlier as the motorway was so thick of fog.

Hope this helps someone thinking of going at this time of year :T

Hi. I am thinking of taking my 11 year old grandson to Disneyland Paris sometime this year, during school holidays.
Can someone please suggest a travel company who arranges travel, transfers and tickets and of course accommodation?
I need something fool proof, not that I am admitting to being a fool you understand!
Also any tips that may be helpful for during our stay would be most welcome.
We would travel from Manchester, and for convenience it would probably be better to fly, realising that I would be paying through the nose, and indeed, my broken heart thinking about it.
    Thank you.
  • Hello everyone, we have decided to go to Disneyland this July after years of putting it off. Looking to go sometime in the first two weeks of July as my son gets longer school holidays. BUT we've just moved house and are now fairly broke. Have a complete budget of £2000 to cover EVERYTHING, including transport.

Am completely confused by all the options; and ways to get a good deal. Don't even know anymore what IS a good deal!

Please can someone spell out what I should be looking to do?! I have searched these threads and go myself muddled.

What I am looking for: 2 adults, one 9 year old. Husband would love to be able to walk to the Park and certainly doesn't want a crowded, long bus ride each day. I would like to spend longer there and was looking at getting an annual pass - looked at a couple of the budget hotels/appartments that are close to the park but there were very mixed reviews (and the bad reviews were APPALLING)

Then I saw BalletShoes suggest a refundable off site hotel, and wait for flash sales.

    I guess my questions are:

If we went for off site, which hotel would you recommend as being close enough to the Park to keep Mr Grumpy happy, and cheap enough that it makes it worthwhile being off site?

If we went for on site, which hotel would you recommend, and what is the best sort of deal we could hope for? (And when should we look out for the flash sales?)

We live in South Wales - if we fly to Paris with Easyjet, how would we get to DLP? Or would you recommend Eurostar instead?

I am daunted by all the options, and would LOVE to get a good deal so we can spend at least 4 full days in the park - hence why I was thinking about an annual pass...

how early in July can you check in? The earlier you can go, the cheaper it will be. Lets start there then I can maybe make some more suggestions :).

I think Easyet fly from Manchester and/or Liverpool to Paris CDG? If they do, I'd use them and book my flights direct with them, and then source the accommodation and park tickets. Do you have any particular school holidays in mind?
