The Kyriad at Disneyland Paris, or the B&B hotel at Disneyland Paris, would be my picks - however for February, you might find that you can get good room only prices from Disney themselves, with your AP-based discount. In your shoes I'd phone Disney and ask, then compare the price you get for room-only with your AP with what you can get the Kyriad etc for offsite but nearby.

    Hi,

Booked up to go 12-15 March 2Ad + grandchildren 6yr + 4yr. What is the current cost for getting from CDG to DLP on RER as I cant fathom out on the website? Magicbus is 130euro and TGV too early to book!

Many thanks in advance for any help!

there is no direct route from CDG to DLP by RER, you have to travel from the airport towards Paris, then change to go on to DLP. I've never bothered as its such a faff. It will be 2 journeys each way on the RER, I'd start with this website -

    http://parisbytrain.com/paris-rer/

Theres no need to book a transfer now, a month or so prior to travel will be fine. At that time you'll be able to compare the TGV, the MagicBus, private transfers, and shared transfers (which is what I use every time for DLP).
There are various private/shared shuttle companies you can use, I use rstransports.com but theres also ezyshuttle.com , tioshuttle , interserviceprestige , etc etc

Good morning. We have booked a 2 night 3 days half board on 14-16 December.

Sadly, due to school Nativity we can't get the train out of London until 17.00 we arrive @ 21.30 ! So the whole first day is a write off, I doubt we will even get any food on the half board plan that late ? Certainly no park that day !

What I am thinking is if we don't use our tickets for the park until Thursday would they validate then for 3 days and mean we can use them Thursday, Friday and Sat ?

If we were to ask, would Disney move our half board from the Wednesday to the Friday so we can have lunch before we leave as opposed to dinner on the arrival night ?

Last question. If I were to extended the booking for one extra night, meaning we leave Saturday would they be more accommodating with the above and what is the best price to book just one night extra at Newport Bay ( assuming our park tickets would validate for Saturday there would be no need to buy again ) we would be quite happy to get the direct train home Saturday rather than Friday and just use the hotel pool etc.

Hope that makes sense ..... thanks in advance for the reply

no, your package starts on your check-in date, which is Wednesday. So you will have park tickets valid for all day Wednesday, all day Thursday, and all day Friday. As far as I'm aware DLP won't change the validity of your package-included park tickets.

Your half board meal vouchers are not dated per day, you can use any and all of them between the time you arrive on Wednesday until the end of the night on Friday if you wish.

as I said above, I don't think theres any way that your package-included tickets can have the dates moved on one day on them, as on their own they have no value (they are marked "NIL" or "forfait" in the price bit on the back of the tickets). The only way you'll know for sure though, is to phone Disney and ask them the specific question.
  • Thanks Ballet Shoes, I will indeed give them a ring

Having looked @ Eurostar Wednesday to Saturday that looks good, so getting an extra nights bed and breakfast @ Newport bay might well be a winner - although Expedia suggests it's £200 a night for just the room - is that about right ?

on a Friday night in December? Yes, that sounds about right.
  • Some of you may remember we were due to go to DLP last November 15th for my big birthday celebrations only for our plans to be scuppered due to the Bataclan attack. We got as far as Heathrow Travelodge only to then discover DLP had closed for the 3 days we should have been there. Trying to book again for this year was a bit of a nightmare as 17 year old son understandably didn't want to take time off from college due to A Level studies but we all really wanted to experience the Christmas festivities there. We are therefore going 27th December for 3 nights and can not wait. We did pay more, (but have benefited from free half board), know it will be mega busy but really don't care. All in all we are all really looking forward to our very belated holiday
