Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

Well, I'm back... sadly. Had the best time and put into practice so much learnt on here, which was great. Have to say though took a suitcase full of snacks and drinks and came back with most of it!
We had the free half board plus and the food was fantastic (thanks again Balletshoes for the recommendations). Cafe Mickey was certainly a big hit with my 2 boys and loved Walts and Hunters Grill too. We found though with the big breakfast and a few extra rolls tucked into bag for lunchand then the Free "afternoon snack" each (drink and cake), followed by a 3 course meal in the evening we just didn't need the amount of snacks we bought. It felt great to eat a meal of around 100 Euros a day for a family of 4, in a lovely restaurant, with great food and not have to part with any cash! We barely spent any money at all on food/drinks whilst there, just the odd ice cream. I'd certainly look for the free half board again (which I see is now their current offer again).
Sequoia was lovely once again. Was a perfect (albeit tiring) holiday and can't wait to go back!0 -
Advice needed, please.
We are going to Disneyland Paris 23rd-27th May with my f-i-l, who has booked us flights to Paris & 4 nights at the Radisson Blu (Disney golf hotel) There are 6 adults & 2 children. We have yet to buy park tickets though.
Isango.com seems to have 3 day 2 park tickets for all of us for £1012 (assuming this is a reputable site!)
However, I have looked up the annual passes that people have suggested & it seems the Fantasy pass is €159 each. It states that you get a 20% discount if you buy more than 5 passes so am I right in thinking if we buy all 8 together we will get 20% off the total? Eg. 8 x €159 -20% = €1017 or £835.
This would suggest the annual pass is actually cheaper. Can this be right? Are there any problems with the annual pass? It seems the annual pass also has other benefits eg. money off in the shops/restaurants.
All advice gratefully received!Beautiful DD born Jan 2007

there are rules about the annual pass family discount - you can only buy a total of 5 with the 20% off, so you'd pay full price for the other 3. Also, all 5 annual passes have to be for the same family, all resident at the same address. (which is why its called the family discount).
Here are the advantages of the annual passes at DLP -

Can vouch for the discounts on store purchases they can make quite a dent in purchases so much so we keep our eyes out for british people and offer our annual pass to get them the discount we've saved others over 100 euros!!0

Looking for advice, have looked at the 50% offer on the French site. I know it says no meals but does it still include breakfast. I assume the no meals bit just means the offer from the UK site of free half board.
It is obviously so much cheaper.
Thanks if you can help0 -

yes, all the standard packages on all the countries websites include hotel, hotel breakfast, and park tickets for the duration of your trip.0 -
Thanks for really quick reply, now to book it as 50% is cheaper than offers on UK site.
Will read back on advice where to stay as need to keep to a budget. Assume as Disney hotel still get the early entry.0 -

Just to let people know. I bought 2, 2day passes off discount ticket store I think they were £85 each. I was after annual passes cause of the discounts they offered but they had sold out. I did read that you could upgrade your tickets once you got there to annual passes. I was a bit dubious as the tickets said £116 each and I paid £85.
When I got to disney I thought I would have a go at upgrading . I went to the Donald ticket window. I asked if I could upgrade. The guy said usually they only allow you to upgraded 1day tickets but because i hadn't used them yet he would ask his supervisor.
He rang his supervisor and said that we could upgrade. we just needed to pay the difference. So it works out I had to pay an extra €20 euros per ticked to upgrade from my 2 day ticket. He worked the price out from the £116 it said on the ticket.
So I had to pay £85 for the ticket and €20 to upgrade to the fantasy pass. By far cheaper than it should be. Not sure if it would work for everyone but we'll worth a go as you save €15 on parking the next day.0 -
We have booked the 6.30 pm show on the second night to see the buffalo west show, does this show include dinner? we also have the half board incl. in the package so wondered if it would be best use this voucher for lunch that day if the dinner is already included in the show ticket.
Also hearing a lot about the caf! mickey breakfast, is this worth the upgrade, we have a 6 year old and what is the general recommendation for breakfast.
