Well Radisson is out of the budget as will have to book 2 rooms now since we have 4 kids.
I thought one family room will suffice.
Anyone stayed in the golden tulip?
    Or any other recommendation. ....
Oh also how much does it cost for train from DLP to Paris? Per adult? Per child?

i don't have any experience of the golden tulip, sorry.

    From this recent link -

    http://parisbytrain.com/rer-train-paris-to-euro-disney/

it looks like its around 7.50 euros each single journey for an adult, from DLP station (marne la vallee chessy) to central Paris.
  • Were going next week...(again).

    Le Chene Gris... Mon-Fri (Caravan - £150)
    Eurostar - £120 or Ferry - £80 (return)
Fuel from Home - Probably 3x Tanks (£150).

The site is 20mins away by car, it has a swimming pool etc. Parking at Disneyland is Free as we have Annual Passes which we purchased last year.

Its far far far worth driving, its €20 in Tolls each way, and an easy 2hrs 30mins from Calais to the Park. For us...were going to pay £40 extra and stay in a hotel near to Ashford, the Eurotunnel/ferry early in the morning..

Alias omega, we are booking le chene Gris for 2 nights after adagio val d'europe. Would you let me know what it's like please? Looks fab on the website :) many thanks, Lisa xx

Hi. Just wondered if anyone could recommend a hotel near the eurotunnel for a Saturday in June. Would prefer a small hotel to a big chain name. Thanks for your help.

Can only advise Premier Inn in that area, more specifically, Ashford North located at Hothfield Common. Very quiet as it is out of the way, the only noise is the very feint rumble of Eurostar in the distance every hour or so. Always had a good night's sleep there. Approx 10-15 mins drive to Eurotunnel.

Hi This is my first official post but I'm not new to MSE, I've been lurking for years but this thread is so informative, I just had to finally take the plunge!

We are off to Disneyland next month and I'm looking now to purchase some Buffalo Bill Tickets... I've read through the vast information on this thread and have seen posts saying that the French version of Disneyland website is cheaper than the UK for buying these (which it is) but I've also read (and previously looked) on ticketnet.fr for these but either I'm doing something wrong now or they are no longer available on there, as I can't find them when I search? I did find them under the review section and was taken to this link (opps can't post a link as a newbie but I clicked on Parc and then clicked on the no. 1 review at the bottom of the page).......
but I can't see how to purchase them any more and think they might not be on sale until the 4th April...? Can anyone shed any light. Thanks in advance; I'm sure I've got more questions to come.:D

5th April is the start of the new "year" at DLP, so its entirely possible that you can't book tickets for BBWWS on ticketnet.fr until after then, for next month.

possibly later this month or May - just keep an eye on the Eurostar website, and call them every week or so to ask if they have a date when your fares will be released for sale. If you're not going in UK/French school holidays, you should be okay to get the cheapest fares when they are released.

Thanks :) I'll try again then in a couple of days. The cheapest at the moment on the french site is 168 Eur for 2 adults and 2 kids... I think it's been mentioned not to pay more than 40 Euros each, so is 168 a fair price? Thanks

yes i'd say so - its only another 2 euros each over the 40 euros price :) - the normal gate price is 55 euros per adult, 45 euros per child.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
    Hi,

we are planning a four days trip to paris, in which we hope to cover the Disney parks in the first two days and then travel to Pau from there on the third day to meet our friends and then return to London.

The trip is planned for the 22nd may and return on sunday the 25th evening just before the Monday bank holiday.

Would really appreciate advise on transport and accommodation, we have a 6 year old with us. Balletshoes appears to be a wealth of information in this area, the accommodation between DLP and Paris seems a quite decent idea to get good deals on hotels and at the same time be nearer to the local transport, but does the local trains run 24 hours?

I think the French website idea is brilliant a well, using chrome, just tried it and prk tickets turns out be 404 euros for two days but maybe as suggested I should just go for the hopper ticket for the second day, is this some thing that can be done online?

Just as a comparison, the UK website for those days (3 days / 2 nites) inicl. park tickets is ~£550 where a the French website doesn't allow me to book for that period now for some reason, is this normal?

Also please advise on the final leg of the tour, travel from paris to pau and then from pau to London.

All comments / suggestions will be greatly received with sincere thanks.
