I've spoken to a couple of different people at Eurostar and I have to say, the people I've spoken to haven't exactly sounded like they know what they're talking about. The 'best' information I've had from them is "the end of April".
The website is showing up to the 25th December now. I've tried playing around with dates on there (checking cost for the week before we travel for example) but it keeps telling me that there is no availability. I'm not sure if it's the website that's being stupid or me!0 -

no idea i'm afraid - i've never done it (we are always a small party at DLP). The roads around DLP are well-signposted and well maintained, so I should imagine it will be fine - and with the price difference for your week, I'd definitely do it!

avis certainly has 7-seater people carriers that you can hire out of Marne-la-vallee train station, so yes, it looks like you could hire a suitable vehicle. I'd look around for a good deal though, before you go, and book it in advance.

half board works like this - for the 5 of you aged over 2, you get one voucher per person, per night booked. so if you you book for 4 nights, you get 4 vouchers each. These can be used at 19 restaurants in the DLP resort (main park, studios park, Village and the onsite hotels, including your own). These can be used for either a table service or buffet service meal at the participating restaurants, depending on which restaurants you choose to eat in, the voucher will either cover the full cost, or you can use it at cash value if you want to eat at a more expensive restaurant.
your 2-year old eats completely free at all buffet service restaurants in the resort, and you can ask for a plate for him to share with you at the table service restaurants.
Get a glossy DLP brochure - it explains the half board voucher system very well, in a couple of pages.
you also get, per person per night booked, a teatime treat voucher each, which gets you a hot drink and pastry at various counter service restaurants in both parks.0 -

Hi. Just wondered if anyone could recommend a hotel near the eurotunnel for a Saturday in June. Would prefer a small hotel to a big chain name. Thanks for your help.0

There are loads of apartments and budget hotels in those areas, have a look on travelrepublic, expedia, ebookers, alpharooms etc.
I've no idea on Paris and the Eiffel tower, sorry.
you probably won't need 2 whole days in each park in May (the main park closes at 11.30pm at that time of the year) - a one-day ticket for the main park and then possibly a park hopper ticket for your 2nd day at DLP would probably work better, to get the most out of your time there.
check the French version of the official DLP site (change the country to France, isle de france) and look for the price of park tickets there.
fnac also do discounted park tickets for DLP, but I don't think they have their May allocation yet (you might have to wait until early April for those).
Thanks.
Hubby thinking to book the Radisson Blu. Says free shuttle service to DL parks. However is it difficult to get the train into Paris for Eiffel from there?
What a difference in price from UK site to the French one. Is there any way to see the french site but in English?0 -
Thanks.

no, not difficult at all - you'd take your hotel shuttle to the parks terminus, as this is right outside the DLP train station. Its about 45 minutes train journey from there on the local RER A service, straight into Paris.

if you use google chrome as your browser, you will get google translate coming up automatically to switch from french to english.

Well Radisson is out of the budget as will have to book 2 rooms now since we have 4 kids.
I thought one family room will suffice.
Anyone stayed in the golden tulip?
Or any other recommendation. ....
Oh also how much does it cost for train from DLP to Paris? Per adult? Per child?0
