UU
Kimberley Sayer Moisturiser SPF 30 sample size - got this free in a delivery from somewhere. Thought it would be good cos the products are expensive, but wasn't impressed at all. Didn't sink in very well and felt heavy WNBA.
One IN
La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo 40ml - I finally found a bargain on ebay
July PP looks like this:
Garnier 7 Day Moisturiser
Burts Bees Lip Balm
[STRIKE]Di Palomo White Grape Hand Cream [/STRIKE]

Not a great month. Lots of spluttering products though, so August should be better.0 -
Hi everyone. I have been out of the forum for a few days and it hasn't gone great. Quite a few ins including 10(?) shower gels today as they were in lidl and smelt amazing. And they have random stuff in there so I wanted to get them while I could. Blah blah...
Also a new shampoo and conditioner (needed). And three body butters (not needed)
UU Nivea water lily shower gel. Lovely scent. Very refreshing. Cien conditioner from lidl. Really good. And Dove shower gel. Plum and verbena. Also a lovely scent and really softening.

The good news is tomorrow is August 1st and there will be a new thread and you can set re-set yourself the goal of not buying anything unnecessary in that month. I love that feeling of a clean sheet myself.
I've only had a few of weeks back on this thread after being off the wagon for ages. I think what's helping me so far is just steering as far clear from temptation as I possibly can.
Only ever going into a shop with a clear purpose in mind that is justified based on having checked my stash first. No going in just to "have a look" - as I will walk into the special offer (especially "gift" with multiple purchase) trap. I have to remind myself I am only saving money if I would have bought everything without the discount or if the free gift is stuff I would have needed too.
Emails from companies I've bought from before with good deals are proving a challenge to ignore, have had a few NPIs and just saved myself in time. Have to start dropping them in my spam folder - and if I ever do need to order again I can just drag the confirmation email back to my inbox.0 -

One final UU for the month as I went to bed last night
Cotton Wool Pleat, which I use with my evening cleanser. Much prefer cotton pads, but despite having some of those in stock I've replaced with the remnants of another cotton wool pleat as they take a lot more space for storaging (and I've still got another larger remnant in my under basin cupboard!)
But my son have my back my sun cream, so the GA has come back home !!
Leaves me at 5 UUs, 0 GAs, 0 TAs and 0 INs for the month.Cheryl0 -
Actually, just realised I had 2 INs.
A free Garnier challenge kit (which I've started using this morning, so should be a UU in August as long as keep at it)
and
A free 10g sample of a face cream with SPF50 (from my local pharmacy). Will probably take this away later this month to use on OH's niece and my 2 GDs who we're taking with us. (If the weather holds we will be having at least one very long day outside, walking to/from an outside activity.)Cheryl0 -
I didn't manage to write a PP list for July, but did have items corralled to concentrate on so have managed a few UU at last.
UU
75g Steam Cream. WNBA, cannot use on face , too expensive to use as a body cream.
15ml Ole Henriksen Truth Serum, MBA, may have another to use, will reserve judgement.
Revitalash Advanced eyelash conditioner. WBA, have another started, really works for me.
25ml Trilogy Booster Serum, MBA need to check out price though.
3ml Vichy Liftactiv Serum 10 for eye and lashes. WBA have more in stock.
30ml Clinique facial soap mild. OK but WNBA have cleansers I like better.
IN
200ml Darphin Intral Toner
40ml LRP Toleriane Ultra face and eye cream
200ml x 2 LRP Toleriane Dermo-cleanser
(all above HG, used daily and re-stocked at good prices)The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
