Dial123 or Ringo for mobile calls to Republic of Ireland?

Just looked at that tariff redux and yes that would be good, I'd get 3000 free calls and texts to o2. Been thinking though on the PAYG bundles, those minutes are any network or landline but the problem is then with the ireland mobile I'm ringing and the 30 or 35p charge I've to pay as well along with Ringo!
The tariff I mentioned is O2's own for a direct dialled call, no Ringo, no callthrough access number, no aggregate of charges from two providers.
Other networks also have cheap international calls, sometimes via an opt-in that's free but you still have to apply it to get that rate.0 -
Another place to check is http://store.virginmedia.com/virgin-media-mobile/sim-only/pay-monthly-sim.html
£8 = 1250+Unltd+500Mb

Delight is 3p/min even without a bundle. Even without Ringo, you can call 23 countries' landlines for 1p/min incl. RoI (02 charge £1.50!) Can't find any mention of the mobile rates in those countries though; hopefully Grumbler will enlighten us.
If your phone is locked to O2 then either get it unlocked or buy a Nokia 106 (I think) from Asda (currently on offer for £4 on EE), which accepts Delight.Another place to check is http://store.virginmedia.com/virgin-media-mobile/sim-only/pay-monthly-sim.html0 -
What I see is:Choose your SIM Only tariff for your minutes, texts and data1250 mins + 500MB data
Standard SIM 1250 minutes, Unlimited texts, 500 MB dataKernel_Sanders wrote: »Delight is 3p/min even without a bundle. Even without Ringo, you can call 23 countries' landlines for 1p/min incl. That said, if you mean rates for calling Irish mobile, it's wasn't hard to find that it's 4p/min.If your phone is locked to O2 then either get it unlocked or buy a Nokia 106 (I think) from Asda (currently on offer for £4 on EE), which accepts Delight.0 -
I have noticed that Ringo has introduced a 'Call Back' feature in their App.
Checking the rate on my phone for 'call-back' its 3p a minute to call a Republic of Ireland mobile against 2p to call direct via the app
'Call back' feature does not use your own minutes
"Request a callback and we’ll connect your call"
Seems a cheap way to use a UK PAYG mobile

It is. And I've been saying it for years for some circumstances, for instance when roaming the mobile network's incoming call tariff is usually quite a bit cheaper (or even free) than outgoing, and things may still work out cheaper overall even with the callback provider's two call leg tariffs on top.0 -

That seems good ballyblack for PAYG customers. Was thinking of changing network to bt mobile though which would be 1000 minutes as I'm only free to o2 numbers, think it's unlimited texts as well. So if I changed network does that mean the calls then are taken out of my 1000 minutes? Oh decisions!!
You dont use your inclusive minutes if you use ringback.
