If you are worried about getting harrassed by pushy dealers/buyers when you first open your boot (like me) what I do is just put out one box of tatty stuff, whilst locking your car so they can't nosey in there. Then they can rummage through your rubbish stuff and then move on to the next stall so you can get your decent stuff out without being harrassed.Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.0

Hello,
Nearly every car boot I visit have stall-holders selling new surplus items and provided the prices are reasonable, the punters love it!!!
The really big car boot tend to have some market trader types selling fruit and veg, toiletries etc and they get charge more for their stalls.
Your best bet would be to phone the organiser of the car-boot you have in mind and ask about their terms.
Best wishes

If you’re fed up with the thought of another typical Britsh Bank Holiday on the horizon?
Do you love going to car boot sales to pick up some bargains?
or
Do you go to sell to make a few pennies?
or
Like me need to have a good clearout but don’t drive?
And nobody can help out by taking you because they’re too busy etc.?
Then do like I’ve done check out http://www.ibootsale.co.uk/main/index.php the online car boot sale.
I’ve managed to make a few pennies, plus have picked up some great bargains.
It's completly free to list and no fees!

hiya,
I'm thinking of having a go at a couple of car boots. Can you still sell electrical goods there?
Also, I have an astra van as my company car - stickered up with the company logos. My employer says I'm allowed to use it - will car boot organisers charge me extra for it?
Thanks

You normally pay more in my area if you have a van etc, but id ring up beforehand just to check.
Yes you can sell electrical stuff-but bear in mind that some people remove plugs beforehand.
