I am about to have a go at my first car boot sale as a Seller. I've decided to choose a smaller one to get an idea of whether I can cope or not.
I have a load of new unused Avon stuff to sell, amongst other things - but any suggestions on prices on anything from perfumes to talcs, body sprays and handcreams?
Found the price suggestions on books and things in an earlier post really helpful.
Anything would be a bonus - think I need to cover a pitch fee of around £6.0 -
Price the stuff at double what you would be happy taking for it.I do that for some bigger things and have had some nice surprises where people just gave me what was on the price tags without even haggling."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0

Just a warning enviromental health can fine anyone selling food
You need at least a basic food hygiene certificate and have to have your kitcehn inspected
I sold some old bits last year and they arrived and shut the lady next to us stall. She was selling bags of sweets and choc covered fruitMad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!
Aiming to loose 56 pounds this year. Total to date 44.5 pounds 12.5 to go. Slimming World Rocks!0 -
The "Womens' Institute" know the rules on selling food. The law changed about 10 or 15 years ago and caused near chaos for the likes of village fetes.0

Hi i am looking to do a car boot sale either this weekendor next. I live in Derby so the nearer the better but i dont fancy the dreadful cattle market venue, been there got the tshirt and the scars to prove it.
AWFUL place for selling.
Any advice on better venues not too far away would be fantastic:j0
