Hi, has anyone been to the Saturday morning boot sale at Wotten under Edge ? We were thinking of doing one there tomorrow the 15th and wondered how many cars get there and more importantly, are there lots of buyers?..Are there any other big sales on a Saturday morning within a 25 mile radius of the Severn Bridge worth looking at?
Thanks

You do have to watch it at both of these sites as sometimes bits your selling can go walkabouts!
I seem to be doing one off bootsales every summer these days! Although last week was a washout so I was hoping to do it this weekend but looks again like it might be a bit naff.
Going to one near me on Sunday (if it is dry) and it is £14.50 for a pitch and items still go for buttons.0 -
Does anyone know of any good boot sales in the slough/maidenhead/langley sort of area? We usually do the taplow one but was hoping to find one with a cheaper fee than 11 pounds! Thanks'They only had one cow!'0

Going to a car boot as a seller for the first time this sunday. Went to the same one last weekend to have a look around. Ive got a couple of questions
1) How much would i be likely to get for a Portable TV and DVD player combo. No remote?
2) If i were to buy a bunch of cans(non alcoholic) from Tesco or somewhere would i be able to flog them on my stall?0 -

I paid £4 for a silver portable TV/DVD combo it did have a remote
Most carboot places wont let you sell food/drink because they either sell such items themselves of take a large cut off the burger/ice cream vans so have sole food/drink selling rights, having said that I've sold the odd few cans Ive bought in error (got diet asda's own red bull by mistake and sold them on)0 -

hi everyone,
am doing a car boot in the morning a bit unsure on what to ask for the following:
thunderbirds tracey island with all the bits,
scaletrix,
moses baskets,
tiffany bracelet (with receipts etc)
digital camera,
fish tank,
tom tom sat nav,
flymo lawn mower, and
a leaf blower/collector thing
am in desperate need of space and so really looking to get rid of it but obviously the extra cash is a bonus so dont really want to give it away!
thanks for any replies in advance0 -
