Morning all
Dancemum happy birthday, hope you have a lovely day
Bossy so pleased the party went well
Valli hugs for you, I know if you are cross then things have been pushed way to far my Pollyanna friend x
Plan is to get all the stuff already chopped down cut up and in the bags and then see if there is space if we cut more down. For now though it is raining. I've dropped DS2 at the sailing lake, day of learning how to kayak rescue today.
I have blackcurrants to pick, hoping DS1's GF will do that. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Thanks Dusty. Have Flylady coded my post now.;)
As Scarlett said (I think - never seen the fillum:eek:) tomorrow is another day and all that - and it's tomorrow now.
Happy Birthday Dancemum. My friend who died last year was a few weeks shy of her 50th so I think of 50+ as a great achievement. Look how far you've come!
Anyway some Flylady therapy (aka Flying) in DS's bedroom has helped. I have put things in drawers. I hope to encourage him to sort through the drawers over the summer and fling stuff no longer wanted/outgrown. Then the drawers can be used to store his Uni stuff. I also hope to encourage him NOT to take the entire contents of his room next time. I have found 3 toothbrushes...there must be a 4th because he will have taken one to work on Friday. So definitely some 'slimming down' needed. He also wants me to sell law books on e bay. I think Amazon will be better - but he needs to hang fire while I gather some packaging.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hugs to Valli over the subject of your rant. My boss turned up with flowers and a card on Friday 3 weeks after my diagnosis...
Have finished my creative writing story. Only half of a reflective commentary left to do. I am desperate to complete the module, but completely knackered!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Afternoon all,
Happy birthday dancemumm hope you are having a good one.
Too busy to post yesterday, out most of the day at a party with dd2, then we had lunch out, then shopping for garden furniture, then frantically crisis tidying and cleaning and mowing as super tidy friends were coming round in evening. I need more untidy friends.
Anyway, less busy day today, some chilling out with the children, sitting on new garden furniture and drinking lots of brews. Plan now is to make some food, then I have a little sewing project I have been meaning to do. Which should be good as I can't sew for toffee!
Have a good evening everyone x0 -
Hoppy Birdday dancemum :bdaycake:
I've been decluttering £££ out of Mr LW's bank account.:D
Nah, nothing exciting, his credit card bill arrived, and it's one of my tasks to ensure all bills are paid in timely fashion. We keep our money separate but have access to each others' accounts. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Happy Birthday Dancemum.
Not much achieved today - though I have finished the latest book in the Clifton Chronicles so I could pass to D Sis! Also managed to stay awake during the Brit Grand Prix - I think that's a first!!
Off to make the bed as did manage to wash bedding!
Catch up better tomorrow. xJuly 16 £95/£200

Ah, that explains all the helicopters we've seen/heard today - they'll be to do with Silverstone. That's right, I didn't even know the Grand Prix was on!!!:rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

Hi all
Back from a fab weekend away. Had a few difficult moments with DS1 and I think that DS2 is being affected by all this too. I think it would really help DS2 to talk to someone outside of the family about what is happening with his brother so we are going to try and find out if there is any way of him getting some support.
On the positive front DS1 has now been awarded PIP which is a massive relief.
I need to get back into some kind of normal routine this week so will be flying along as best I can.0
