No apologies needed. It fills the time while I wait for the POPLA decision.
Also keeps me away from Beachy Head.
Had better not stray too far though or we will incur the wrath of the top end lubricant chappie.
I have also now realised I am sexist, as I assumed the magistrate would be male.0 -
Still no reply from POPLA so gave them a ring.
Apparently they are running behind schedule so may hear next week.
Tried Beachy Head. Waved goodbye to Betsy who has now been restored to her glossy best.
Unfortunately landed on the front of a passing large inflatable and landed back on cliff.
My new friend Mustaffa, who had been sitting at the back, also landed next to me. I dropped him off at Brighton on the way home as he apparently has job with a Mr Randall there for £2.50/hour.0 -
No idea what is happening with POPLA. They say they will let me know result whenever the appeal is heard.
Have not received evidence pack from CPM. POPLA say they got theirs on 20th July and I should contact CPM.
Wrote to CPM, guess what, zilch response as usual.
Good news, my MP has been in contact with Marcus Jones, Minister for Local Government no less. Apparently they are 'analysing the results of a consultation' and 'will publish their plans later this year'.
We can all rest easier in our beds, knowing they will be on the Car Parking case, once they have sorted their priorities of Fox Hunting, Union Bashing and MP's pay.0 -
Very odd! Saw aforementioned Mr Jones on telly last night.
He seemed to be at a beer festival. We've gone from Eric in a pickle to a pickled Marcus.
Still nice to know he's on the case/crate.0 -

At least they are looking at the problem and not ignoring it. I would give them the benefit of the doubt at present.0 -
I'm sure this process will eventually send me crackers.
I'm sitting patiently waiting for result of appeal and then evidence pack arrives this morning from CPM, which they say they sent on 20th July. Could that be a Porky?
What to do! Have I got time to refute evidence? Who knows!
POPLA website won't allow me to send any evidence so emailed it.
Better get my Blood Pressure meds upped a bit if this goes on any longer.0 -
email popla and tell them you have only just received the CPM evidence pack almost 4 weeks later than the date on it and ask for a weeks delay so you can issue a rebuttal, then make up a rebuttal and email it to them
it drives everybody crackers, especially those who are not used to it, plus every case tends to be different0 -
HOW TO REBUT A PPC's EVIDENCE PACK
Here's an excellent example of how one poster dealt effectively and comprehensively with a PPC's Evidence Pack. I'm sure this will give you plenty of ideas on how to handle your case.

And another one to consider.

Hi Red-x.
I tried to contact POPLA but just get the autoresponse.
As we are well past the predicted hearing date I dashed off a couple of quick photos to redact their main point and emailed them off.
I will post up their evidence and see if there is any more I should do.
I don't particularly want to delay the hearing anymore than it has been already0 -

Hi all. Above is the text part of the evidence, allegedly supplied to POPLA by CPM, regarding my appeal that I received today.
It seems to be based on my original POPLA appeal which in my innocence was very mitigation based.
I have since beefed up my appeal and I am now concerned that perhaps the beefed up version isn't being considered by POPLA.
With regard to the evidence.
Point 1. Not all dashboard is visible on photo. (have sent off photos to POPLA to prove this)
Point 2. I'm still not too clear about this. I think they are accusing me of 'breach of contract'.
Point 3. Irrelevant now, was trying to get to mitigation of loss.
Point 4. Is a collection of photos from the site which have obviously been taken since the alleged offence.
In the summary before the list of attachments it says I am in 'breach of the site restrictions'. Does that mean 'Terms and Conditions' and does that clash with Point 2.
In the last paragraph they have altered my sex does that count as sexist.
I don't know if I can add anymore to my appeal, but I would appreciate any comments.0
