Hi Ralph-y. Had second thoughts about my posting so have edited it. Have cooled down a tiny bit.

    Walls have ears.

I'm sure the fuzz will get round to it eventually but they seem quite busy at the moment.

I expect the CCTV will develop a mysterious fault, you know how unreliable they are.

Still waiting for evidence from PPC looks like its down to the wire.............

If I recall correctly your POPLA assessment date is 28th July ?

It has been known for PPC's to send a copy just to POPLA or to send it much later to the person appealing than they send it to POPLA.

So I would suggest you email POPLA to let them know you have not received the PPC's response to your POPLA and ask whether they have.

Also worth checking you spam folder

    Hi CC.
Just checked with popla this afternoon and got auto response, 'will respond within 5 working' days.

Nothing in the spam, only Olga after my body as usual, I hate to keep disappointing her.

Will leave it a couple of days then send some rebuttal stuff about the quality of the photos, which were with their first refusal, I guess they will use them.

Hope the warden isn't the assessor as he didn't seem to understand much about the equality act.

More about the warden once the appeal is settled.

Hi CC. Haven't heard a dicky from CPM or Popla so don't know what is happening, or not, tomorrow.

Just to while away the hours I thought I would send you the amendments CPM have made to the signage at the surgery.

I know you love a good sign. If you can work this out I will send you a charcoal biscuit. I used to fight with my collie over them when I was a kid.

I have no idea what the two different short stays refer to as there is only one type of short stay bay

They obviously ran out of stickers and resorted to the marker pen for the others.

Last Monday had a little run in with the warden when dropping Henry off for his blood test. We had a little discussion regarding the Equality Act and Blue Badges. The nice chap said that if I would remove the BB from the windscreen he would give me a PCN. I decided that perhaps he may have misunderstood his training.

Anyway the net result was he drove off shouting something or other.

When we returned to the car would you believe it, poor old betsy had been severely wounded all down one side. How unlucky was that. Must have been a runaway zimmer frame.

As this is being called a contractual charge by the PPC are they properly accounting for v.a.t.?

They will issue some tickets as every car must have a valid tax disc on display!

I suppose I could help them out with my marker pen and rub out the tax disc bit. I'm sure they would be grateful.

Given that tax discs stopped being issued on 01 October 2014, and it is now the end of July, then theoretically they should be issuing tickets to about 83% of cars, as it is only possible to display a valid tax disc up to 30 Sep 2015 (and even then there is no legal requirement so to do).

Actually, my interpretation of the sign was that a valid permit must be displayed, but only that a tax disc must be displayed - it doesn't have to be a valid one...

    Hi Gd123

Haven't heard a dicky from CPM or Popla so don't know what is happening, or not, tomorrow.

Have you submitted your extra points anyway?

I know you love a good sign. Ha ha .... when you find one let me know because those certainly aren't :)

All that effort and they still produce c**p !!!!

Sorry to hear someone took out their frustration at being bested on poor old Betsy.

Are CPM issuing zimmer frames to operatives now? :silenced:
