Any uses for shredded paper?

My mum bought me a paper shredder last week and i now have tons of shredded paper but cant think what to do with it?
We have no small animals so no use for bedding.
I dont want to use it for Ebay packages coz at the end of the day, my bank statements and everything are in there.

Any ideas? It seems a total waste to put it in the bin!

Or add it bit by bit to your compost(er/heap) if you have one.

There seems to be a lot of 'paper dust' in my shreddings so I dont like to use it for our chinchillas as they are pretty sensitive

thats a good point, and it would be difficult to filter out with a cross shredder.

how about papier mache models?

I just shredded a couple of bin loads the other day which is now being used as bedding for my lizards ... saved me almost £10 on a bag of wood chippings

Stuffing rag doll type things is the only other thing I can think of, though compression might be a problem.
