Any uses for shredded paper?

    We aren't allowed ot put shredded paper in our recycling bin. Dunno why.

    I am not allowed to this either,apparently it clogs up the machinery where the paper is sorted :confused:
  • we use it for guinea pig bedding-
    Slimming World..Wk1,..STS,..Wk2,..-2LB,..Wk3,..-3.5lb,..Wk4,..-2.5,..Wk5,..-1/2lb,Wk6,..STS,..Wk7,..-1lb.
    Week 10,total weightloss is now 13.5lbs Week 11 STSweek 14(I think)..-2, total loss now 1 stone exactly
    GOT TO TARGET..1/2lb under now weigh 10st 6.5(lost 1st 3.5lbs)
  • Hi, I use mine in my cats litter box, she prefers it to the shop bought stuff. So, it recycles it, makes my !!!!! cat happy, and I dont think any identity would want to go sifting through cat litter!

    Before we moved house I did a shedload of shredding and then advertised it all on freecycle as pet bedding.
    £2 savers club. No.90. Aim £500.
  • Stuffing draught excluders, making a haybox, papier mache crafts...

    ... that's it off the top of my head. I'll try to think of more.
    Put the kettle on. ;)
  • NOT use as packing for yarns, as one yarn company did.

    HOURS of picking tiny pieces of paper off my yarns.
  • As this has fallen from the front page of OS, I'll add it to the existing thread ;)
