Sudden batch of text messages from 66066?

    I've also received a bunch of these messages starting from this morning. Tried texting STOP but to no avail, got more since.

    That's interesting, I've never had anything to do with Coral. I presume they have bought my number off another company or something.

    Thank you all for your replies, I feel a lot better now. I think I will put in a complaint though. I now have six messages.

    I can't find anything on twitter about it, does anyone have a link to the tweet(s) please?

    Is it worth checking with my mobile provider about charges, or should I just check my bill when it comes out?

  • I tweeted Coral and received a response stating that the STOP button has stopped working. Just received yet another text. Grrr!
  • I've received 6 of these messages since 11am. I to replied with 'STOP' but with in minutes another 3 messages. I've set this number as spam on my phone but i don't know how to block.

    Interestingly, if you click on the links on the website to report to the ICO or the one for report your concerns it takes you through snapsurveys.com a well known data and market research company
    The PhonepayPlus link is clean though
