Yes, a pair of your sparkly stilettos might do, I am sure somebody might appreciate them....
Yes Hubert,do you not have any unworn sparkly stilettos to offer.
Nobody will manage to walk in those,unless they're also a hefty,trannie donkey.0 -
Forgot to say,yesterday was #16 for me.No spends.0

On annual leave at last, not going anywhere, just staycationing chez Nargle. Rumour has it a heatwave is heading our way, I hope so.
Final bits of spending prior to payday, out to friends' house tonight for beer and pizza. Tomorrow it will be chilli con carne with rice and salad, Monday smoked haddock with mash and other random stuff, Tuesday beef stew then Wednesday payday which means loads of food will suddenly appear via the grocery fairy. Well, a Sainsbugs delivery for some of it and a trip to Ald1 for the rest. Then the whole meal planning thing has to be done again. One life - your life - live it!0 -
Well, marmite, what a stroke of luck! You know the arrangements for next Friday night's Summer Ball are all in hand, apart from finding some act for the cabaret spot?
Well, Igor has just informed me that this new band we've found, you know, the ones who play for free as long as we provide food and beer, called TGOB I think.....Well, anyway, they apparently do their own little cabaret spot in the middle of their set! Some singing and dancing comedy drag act, I am told. What a stroke of luck! (Memo to self - transfer cash set aside for cabaret into Nargle slush fund).
Mrs Doyle is saying there is something not quite right about that band, but I just told her they have come along at the right time and nothing can possibly go wrong! Must just be one of her funny turns......One life - your life - live it!0 -
Igor, what do you mean you used my face flannel to clean to ladies' toilets in the Tardis!
Right, that's it.I am not going to help you any more when you lose a precious pair of your unmentionables.See how you like that!
Oh yes Nargle,I'm so glad to see the back of The Good Ole' Boys and their rowdy ,loutish behaviour.
Let's hope that this new band TGOB have some class.
We could do with a bit more class around here.
Wait a minute....0 -

A yes,holidays....now Mrs Doyle is quite happy to put together a picnic for you, family and friends.Just name the day,and she'll busy herself hard boiling the eggs and rincing out all the thermoses for the tea.
And if you ask nicely,Cheffie might just throw together a cake. :rotfl:
Let's just hope the sun makes an appearance and then a few encores.0 -

Good to see you scotmumof3!I'm glad that your internet connection has been fixed.
I was getting worried, and even wondered if I'd teased you once too often!
Well done on reaching your second target of 20! :j:j:j
Are you going to raise your target again?
What have you missed?Well, did you hear that Igor and Tatty's nuptials were torn asunder due to Tatty running off with Scroggins, leaving Igor jilted?
He's pretty much back to his old self, apart from the odd sob or two. He's now looking for a bride on the internet....
Cheffie has used his connections to get the journos from 'Booger Off' magazine ('Hello' pooh poohed the idea) to cover our Summer Ball next weekend.Yes,more pretty frocks, champers and mini quiches in the offing, along with the odd egg sarnie and cup of tea!
There will be a raffle (care to contribute something?),cabaret and band.We have secured the services of a band called TGOB.
Strangely enough the initials are the same as 'The Good Ole Boys'...bit worrying,that....
Igor and Cheffie have their heads locked together deciding the menu. They have already decided on a chocolate fountain.Don't worry,I've hidden the Ex-Lax.As I said before,we don't want a repeat of last year's fiasco.I don't think the drains would cope.:eek:
There are a few crates left of Olde Fartinge Bishoppe, thankfully.
So,that's the way it stands at the mo.0
