Don't worry, folks, Chef is in charge of the chocolate fountain arrangements for the Summer Ball. He will supply lots of strawberries, marshmallows, bits of sponge cake etc for dipping, and the chocolate mix will be a fine tempered couverture made from Kenyan cocoa, cane sugar and cream from the best-bred Peruvian mountain goats. He assures me it will only have the slightest hint of anchovy in it.

No, Igor, not that kind of sponge, so no use suggesting marmite'sflannel as a cheaper substitute. On second thoughts, though (races off to check the current status of the Nargle slush fund..)

Not my delicate Hesty Louder face flannel that he used to clean the toilets in the Tardis!!!!The cheek of the man.
I think I've seen it all now.

According to Igor anchovy is the new black,so we'd better get used to the taste.
I'm not included though,having an anchovy allergy.

Good morning! Sorry for being MIA. I feel like I've been swallowed alive by this thing called shift work. I have managed to bag 2 NSD's on Friday and Thursday taking my total up to 17/20 :j:j:j With a few more days to go before the end of the month, I am hoping to meet my third target of 20 NSD's. It's my only day off for the week today and I wish I could say it's a ME day but unfortunately it's not. Lots of chores to do - one of them is a mountain called ironing. No rest for the wicked.... Might not be a NSD today as we need a few things like bread, milk and packed lunch items.

I too have an ironing mountain to deal with. It must be a conspiracy, all the ironing mountains ganging up to attack on a Sunday morning.
