Thank you.I often don't acknowledge when people say thanks like that, probably because I feel a bit embarrassed.I've just realized that it's maybe a bit rude of me.0 -

Oh, I see... I will have to look it up in the European Handbook of Employment Law, to see what it says about an employee taking a day off work for his wedding......Ok, then, but just because you're the bridegroom doesn't mean you can skive, someone has to serve the drinks......unless this lot get their hands on the booze first...
He's just told me he also wants the night off before for his stag do (now that is going to be a fun night.),and the day off following his wedding (honeymoon?).
Honestly,give an inch....
He said that his sister Helga (remember her: beard, one of,voles nesting in) will fill in for him.
That could work I suppose.0 -

Yikes to anything cooked up when Hubert is involved....I'm worried now.In fact,I might have to borrow one of Hubert's nappies.
Don't tell the others.0 -
What, on his honeymoon???
?Oh I see what you mean, Helga can fill in here while he's away.......Well, you never know, all sorts of strange things go on at Ennessdee Towers..One life - your life - live it!0 -

Yes,she will do his butlerly duties, make our cocoa and produce inedible meals for us to chuck down the loo.
Which reminds me...while we're camping,we will have the use of a Portaloo. We need this not to break down during our stay.I cannot stress how important this is.scotmumof3 wrote: »Your secret is safe :rotfl:

Bad choice of word.0 -
Let me get this straight....we are camping, some thirty or so of us, at a bijou camp site on Wimbledon Common.....and we have ONE Portaloo???'?
Who organised the booking?
Ah, a chap called Bert, from the Scroggins dynasty.....might have known....
At least it means we'll never have to suffer a cold loo seat....One life - your life - live it!0
