Reading the terms and conditions it says it must be 2 different direct debit mandates. I'm not sure what this means exactly. Can i do 2 from the same account? or do i need two tesco saver accounts?

Isn't it rhe case though that you can't use two Tesco direct debits with halifax?

Nope - two Tesco Accounts, one DD from each.

For those who have two, are you able to access the two accounts under one login like some current accounts?

Ok thanks, and do I need to physically transfer money each moth so they are 'active, or can they just be 'set up'?

If the first, is there any best time of month to do it and when does the £5 get paid please?

Hakifax Reward Accounts must be "pulled" each month.

Avoid a date which might be delayed over the end of a month by weekends / bank holidays. Choose a date which actually occurs 12 times a year. To not draw attention to yourself choose different dates - and reasonable and different amounts. For the HX Reward accounts I service I use dates around the 18th and amounts of £5.x9 - amounts like £5.49 look like ISP or magazine subscriptions - 99p doesn't!

And the £5 reward appears here late on the first working day of the month.

Thanks for your help polymaff, I've set up another Tesco one as I have two T accounts. Hopefully this will work now and they will count as 'different'.

I am also using the account for basic purchases, so hopefully everything will look normal.

How long did it take for you to get set up?

I applied yesterday and was succesful and set up an initial direct debit for the halifax account but haven' t had any emails or anything.

Do you mean set up the T account, or the DD?
