Don't trust your father with your money. He says he's saving it so you can buy somewhere nice, but in 11 years you'll find out it was paying off his debts and enabling him to be the most popular man in the pub...

Let your money in the bank. Never take so your deposits reached 30 years. You will be flooded with money later.
  • 1) Never switch your application to another department when they say it will be a 12 month wait or you can switch to another dept. Wait it out and get the job with that department in 2 months like your mate who decided to wait did as you will never get the chance to get back to it.

    2) Know how to play the game with the company you are in now so you dont get side shifted into a job you hate with a passion but the salary has bought your soul so you cant escape.

    3) Buy the biggest house and stretch yourself initially before the house prices sky rocket.

    4) To bring some cheer to my otherwise depressing post, he is the one so well done for spilling your drink on him when you did or your paths will never have crossed.
