    If it's any consolation I just thought it was theoretica.com too and couldn't for the life of me think why anybody would want it. Certainly not for £1500.

    There is no contribution of domain extensions in the terms of seo! Only there are some of the popularity of extensions. That is all.

    If you really want the same word and spend less go for alternative .net , co.uk or .uk and if you built a good site with nice contain and some SEO work done .com wont affect you much.
