Cats, defecating on tarmac

I spent my Sunday afternoon shovelling up cat !!!! from the tarmacked path that leads from the yard to the garage.

After picking up all the !!!! on a shovel (whilst retching) I spent hours washing the area down with bleach and water.

Just been to look and guess what, a new pile of cat !!!! was adorning my immaculately bleached pathway?

:mad::(

WFT do I do? I know you people love your cats and it's bad enough having them !!!! in the flowerbed but !!!!!!!! on a tarmacked path is something else.

Do you even consider where your cat goes to the toilet if you have no garden and no litter tray?

Why should I suffer because you don't allow for the fact your cat needs to !!!! somewhere and care less where, as long as you don't have to clean it up!

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Highly likely it's a fox and not a cat.

    It's a cat. Foxes aren't prevalent in this area.

    On a daily basis I see 2 or 3 cats going through my yard and I and can smell cat !!!! a mile off, a very different smell to fox !!!!!

    This gets on my nerves too, I don't let my dog out to use someone else's garden as a toilet but cat owners think this is perfectly acceptable.

    Even if they do have trays indoors, cats will often go elsewhere if they feel like it.
    My front drive is often the target of dogs doing their business. The difference is that those particular people walking them are standing there while they do it. Thanks a a bunch. :(
    I know you've tried bleach, but try a strong solution of biological washing power/liquid on the area, which will break down the residual enzymes. After that's dry, can you put something in its place - a large flowerpot etc.?

    I bought an automatic water jet spray cat repeller and its marvellous. Attached to garden hose and when they come near it they set of the sensor and it sprays them with water - no more cat crap in my garden !

    Just because you see cats does not mean it is actually cats doing this.

    Well cats actually don't like doing their crap on a hard surface, they go in garden soil and dig about. If there is no garden they might do it but more likely move to find soft digging. A small dog on the other hand very like to just crap on tarmac if passing.
