I do hope you played the entire track and not just the first bit. I hate it when people do that.

Oh yes, we made the most of it. The one and only time we plan to do this so we had the entire song on the dance floor together dancing and singing to each other :-) we married over 15 years after meeting so Patience was very appropriate

Remember Occam's Razor - the simplest explanation is usually the right one. :)

  • Mr Crispy and I met as teenagers, so it was very apt that we had Sonny & Cher "I Got You Babe".
"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee."

We had Something (in the way she moves) by the Beatles.

Not long ago on a night out with a disco my wife wrote down a request for Something by the Beatles - The DJ played Love me do!

We bounded a lot of ideas around but went for fix you by Coldplay as we weren't massive fans of them but having seen them at Glastonbury the year before we thought it would be a good choice

Can't remember if we had any music at the reception, it was nearly 40 years and several "Mrs" Lincrofts ago.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

    First dance???

I'm one of the baby boomers who have it/ hog it all.

Our wedding reception was salad, tongue and ham in the church hall, complete with a glass of sherry. Catering done by church women, then off to the pub for the afternoon.
