Woohoo!! Paid day this morning!!
- £150 into emergency fund
- £160 into slush fund
- £110 off my credit card
- £275 off loan (it will be next week but doing it now to make me feel better)
Slush fund now stands at £225.99 without the cheque which should clear tomorrow.
I've realised there are a few babies due in July so will probably need some off this money for cards and (non-lavish) gifts for them.
£450 in food account. £50 of which is for nappies and formula. Baby is having less formula now she is weaning so hopefully this shall drop a bit. I'm going to split the £400 into my 4 envelopes too.
Signature updated. I have added a bit to my first post in this thread so I can track my progress.
Off to feed the kiddos breakfast then off to sains!!
Happy sunny day everyone!!

Morning diary!
Successful day yesterday. Meal plan done for the week. Just need some mince and eggs from the butcher and some Eco cleaner and baby bath from a bigger sains. Oh and some rye bread. Spent £77 on food yesterday so that should come in under my £100 budget for the week.
I also stocked up on nappies and formula for the little ones. Spent about £40 so enough for another formula later in the month of necessary.
I haven't checked bank account yet to see if cheque has cleared. I will need to dip into the slush fund tomorrow to buy a shelf for our TV box as baby is crawling now and keeps making a beeline for it. Should be less than £20 and better to use this then using the credit card!!
There is a bidding frenzy on the two items I have on eBay which will finish today. I will leave any money after postage in PayPal though for the time being for fees.
Lots of ramblings today - sorry!!

hello debtfreeoneday thanks for subscribing again!!
We have had a lovely weekend! A NSD today but a little splurge yesterday at the garden centre. We bought some compost to start some herbs, a hose head to water them and the grass with, a shelf to stop baby from eating the TV box and speaker (she is crawling can you believe it!!) and a much needed utensil pot. We used the slush fund as that's what its there for and these are things we do need not want. That leaves about £200.
First day back at work tomorrow!! Back into the rat race until retirement now. I'm 33 so at least another 30 years unless I can retire early ha ha!!

Hi orange fairy!! Thanks for subscribing! Hopefully this is my last diary.
Work has actually been ok although very hot!! I really missed the little ones though. The commute was hard but it is the only downside so I just need to put up with it.
I'm planning a sains shop today and some meal planning and money management since a lot of dds have gone out these last few days.
2 weeks on Friday till my (hopefully) bumper payday!!!

Morning all!
We had some friends over for a bbq yesterday and they brought some clothes their daughter had grown out of for me to look at for dd. I got 2 coats, several tops, several cardigans and leggings and blouses for the autumn winter for £15 !!!!!! I'm so pleased!!!
Husband and I were lamenting last night how happy we are that we moved! Although we would be well on our way to debt freeness if we hadnt it's been worth it.
Less than 2 weeks to go till the hopefully bumper pay day!!! Not that I'm counting down or anything.
Planning a nsd today as have food left over from bbq. I'm trying to get lots of washing dried before it starts raining later.
Have a good day everyone!!

Wow I haven't posted in a week!!
I haven't got much to say other than trying to patiently wait until pay day on Friday. Once it is here we can plan for the rest of the year. We have slipped a bit this month. Had house guests so meals out and under budgeted for petrol again so that had to go on the credit card.

Hello diaryland!!
So I rang up HR today to see if my half pay will be paid tomorrow and of course they forgot to put it on:mad:
It will be paid next week though. It is £2059 but she said it will probably be 40% taxed. I'm going to take that as a worse case scenario and worked it out to be about £1200.
If that is added on to the £1267 I will be paid tomorrow I shall have £2467!!!
As per my usual mentality I have been thinking I am quids in and can afford xxxx xxxx and xxxx now as well as pay back my debt. The reality of course is I have to pay the balance of the new office shed which is £2150 so I only have £317 left till next pay day.
Less the £60  minimum payment for my credit card and the £25 interest for my overdraft and £33 for my chiro appointment I have the grand total of £199 for the first 3.5 weeks of the summer holidays!! (and nothing to chuck at debt)
As you know I like a challenge!! This is for petrol and spending money so I'm going to challenge myself to take all of it out and then try not to spend any of it. See how I can entertain a toddler and a baby by not going out of the village!!! (Not to mention myself!!!
In other news I have £80 for food to last us till next Friday - but I have to buy nappies and formula so that's at least £12.
I'm feeling cross that I am now spending £85 per month on minimum payments I've toyed with the idea of transferring at least the credit card over to a balance transfer card however I may need to save my credit searches till we know what is happening with a number of things on the horizon.
It all feels a bit stagnant at the moment. Roll on August pay day so I can hopefully make some progress!!
