Re: Rented Neighbours Advice/Smell Gas

Hi There,
New member so please bare with me!
Every year we have new neighbours as the property next to us is rented and I have a few gripes I need advice on.
1st thing is the smell of gas into our garden from their flu pipe (I'm assuming this is what it is) I'm concerned for my child rather than us and it wafts into the house if I have a window open.
2nd is how to address remarks made about my child's noise, she sleeps at 7pm and wakes at 7:15am (So not early hours) so any noise made is playful however it's an old house and I'm getting banging on the wall which I'm unsure on how to deal with as we are very non-confrontational people but at the same time I don't wish to be a doormat! (So the relationship is not healthy as you can tell!)

re: knocking - Ignore it. You could raise the issue with them...or their landlord if you know who that is.

After experiencing noise from kids next door from 7am every single day, I'd suggest that you maybe consider giving them a break every once in a while...0
