Can I ask where in UK you are?
My wife & myself were both accepted but it was only when I phoned up because I couldn't transfer money in that I was told I needed to take ID into a branch.
We did that a couple of weeks ago, phoned up this morning & was told it must be the manager who sees the ID! so have to return again..
Not very impressed so far.
I live in Kent. I only spoke to a branch advisor but they may have spoken to a manager when they went to make the phone call to unblock the account.0 -

Doubt they'd have spoken to a manager, the phone call would have been to the application fraud team.

I applied online and was accepted and they have set up online banking. I have not been asked to take any ID into the branch.0

I've just opened an account with them, and online banking seems ok on the PC, but the TSB APP on my phone won't let me in, yet if I go to the website on my phone I can login. :think:0
