At what point do you consider a relationship 'long term'?

I'd consider a relationship 'settled' at about 18 months and long term at about 3 years.0

I'd probably say about 2 years. I'd say by that point you've been together long enough to consider yourself long term.0

how long is a piece of string? I have known people reluctant to commit after years together - and others who met one day and that was it! you just KNOW. if you have to have a set period of time - perhaps you just haven't met the right one yet.0
