Just as an update:-
I made my purchase just over a week ago, and didn't get the credit, so spoke to Amex CS today, after a few chats with a supervisor they agreed to credit my account manually...
So something definitely went wrong with this offer...
Did anyone get the credit automatically ?
Have to say no problem with them though, didn't have to argue for the manual credit, just a shame the system seems to have gone wrong with this offer. After reading PtL Vaubans Guide , please don't desert us, hang around and help others!

It may be what they mean but it's not what the conditions you quote state. Providing the marketplace seller is selling on the Amazon.co.uk website, according to the conditions you quote the purchase would be eligible:
"Your transaction must be made directly at Amazon.co.uk to qualify for the offer. Transactions made on other Amazon websites or sites affiliated with or linked to Amazon.co.uk will not qualify for the offer."
Note that the conditions refers to transactions "made directly at Amazon.co.uk", not directly from Amazon.0 -
I would take that as Amazon only.Bit iffy?.When I e-mailed Amazon, they gave me a tenner in my a/c, but , only to be spent with Amazon, not 3rd party. It may be what they mean but it's not what the conditions you quote state.
