They did this a few weeks ago and it worked on Gift Cards then. Not sure if this the same offer or a new one?

Indeed, there was one for £10 back on a £30 spend a few weeks ago, so this would be a new one - if it's definitely Amex, then yes it'll work, as it'll be a spend from Amazon - does anyone have a link, as I haven't had the email, and it's not showing on any of my or OH's accounts?

I don't know if there is a link,I've checked, cannot see one, as it was a direct e-mail to me, to use my Plat on Amazon, not even my OH's Plat, just mine . Presume I can get cards, but, looking at garden stuff, for me. Keep checking my offers. It's a new one from Amex for me, usually STC are from logging into "my offers", not direct e-mails. certainly some good offers lately.

Hi Guys, it was a targetted e-mail, BUT,I've had a right game with it. I ordered 4 bags of fertilizer from Amazon, yesterday, @ £18 per bag= £72-£18 because it was "buy 4,pay for 3 ", so £54 was what I owed and used my Amex card, the one the offer was registered to.. Amazon decided to despatch the 4 items seperately, and debit them seperately, so not qualifying for the £10 rebate. Phoned Amex, a minute ago, and with reluctance are refunding me the £10.I didn't think Amazon would be allowed to split payments up into 4. They dispatched my first today, which arrived today, and dispatched other 3 within 5 minutes of each other,30 minutes ago due wednesday.Amazon trying to stop me qualifying. Anyone else had this offer?

is this for Amex-issued cards, or Amex payment cards from other providers?

    Amex Plat.
It was a direct e-mail, for using my Plat, not even OH's plat. Good job I didn't order a pair of shoes, Amazon would have billed and shipped them seperately.:D They must have done it because of the Promo, no logical reason otherwise.Trying to get out of paying.? How the Promo works, between Amex/Amazon I don't know.? I will be very wary of multi ordering on a promo with Amazon again. Amex, who are usually good at refunds, even tried to say I never registered my card.. Well, just done it again, and guess what,Oops, already registered.: They will try and weasle out of anything ; My £10 has been refunded now by Amex.:) Surprised no one else has had the offer, wish I hadn't with the hassle..
EDIT;; Promos from all angles now. Tesco just sent a £10 voucher for using TIS a/c.They are closing others. The mind boggles.:-)

I had the email on my Amex Gold. Got a £35 gift card to qualify, havent had the usual email from Amex confirming the £10 credit.

have called them and they told me it can take up to 8 weeks but looks like they've ballsed it up somehow as lots of people are saying they've have the same problem!

Same here, but the £35 debit has just hit my Amex card, so the credit should be in a few days, it never takes 8 weeks unless something has gone wrong, I'll be keeping an eye on my account...

Interestingly, it was a targeted email I received the offer on my Amex Blue but no offer on my Amex Plat.... Strange.......
